Alloftheparticipantsweretestedatthebeginningandagainat12weeksusinginstrumentsthatdetectedstress,depression,insomniaandpain.Biometrics,acardiologytool,wasusedtomeasureheartratevariability.Baselinetestswerehighinallareas.Bobinetofferedthatthehighbaselinescouldhavebeenreflectingthatthestudybeganduringarecessionandthecompanywasexperiencinglayoffsatthetime. Thecontrolgroup,whichdidnottakeanyprogramoverthe12weeks,alsoshowedadecreaseinstresslevels,butthetherapeuticgroupsimprovementwasfivetimesgreater.Themostsignificantdifferenceswereinpain,heartratevariabilityandbloodpressure.
