REFLECTIONS – Easter Sunday - As disciples, we are called to bear witness to the Good News of God’s unending love for us. Talking about God, saying lots of prayers, going to church even everyday is not what it is really about. It is our actions, how we treat others, how we use what we have been given that proclaims the message. Consider, the message you are proclaiming in your life - is it the Good News?
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his mercy endures forever.” - Psalm 118:1 Reprinted with permission from S.T. Productions.

Encounter the Risen Christ We prayed, fasted and gave alms—and now we celebrate Easter joy! Our Lenten journey with CRS Rice Bowl ends as we encounter our risen Lord. We reflect on our brothers and sisters whom we have walked with in India, Zambia, El Salvador, Mexico, Ethiopia and Hawaii. And we commit to bring Easter joy to each person we meet in our daily lives. Don’t forget to turn in your CRS Rice Bowl in the boxes located at the entrances to Church.
We ask that families who are expecting the birth of a child please call our church office early in the pregnancy so that we can register you for the baptismal class and put your child on the schedule to be baptized. Thank you very much.
CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION
MONTH Every April the Pinwheel is used as the national symbol for Child Abuse Prevention Month. Today, when people see a pinwheel, they think of
happy children playing and having fun. Over time, when people see the pinwheel, we want them to also see a symbol for child abuse and neglect pre-vention. Ultimately we want to convey, through the pinwheel message, that every child deserves the chance to be raised in a healthy, safe and nurturing environment.
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church will have a Holy Hour on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 23rd begin-ning at 2:30pm. Confessions will be available from 2:30 to 3:30.
