Thank you for your continued support of Nativity Catholic School and the P.F.O.! Pennies for Patients During February, our fourth grade service project is called “Pennies for Patients.” In our project, we will be raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. They will use all donations from our school to support their continued research for blood cancers. On February 14th, we will have an out of uniform day where Titans can show their team spirit (for any team, Titans, high school, college or professional) for $1. Students will show how we will “Team up to Beat Cancer.” Also, if our school raises $800, the class with the most donations will earn a pizza party. Every student in the school will receive a small box to collect change in. All donations are accepted. If you are writing a check, please write it to “LLS.” Thank you in advance for your support with our service project!

Malcolm X, and actor Marlon Brando were also all from Omaha. Omaha is home

to the College World Series and the Henry Doorly Zoo, considered to be one of

the best zoos in the world! The zoo has the largest indoor swamp, rainforest, and

desert in the entire world—talk about a lot of animals!
