The White Earth Land Recovery Project works to restore the traditional economy of the Ojibwe of Northern Minnesota Our wind energy and food sovereignty projects seek to maintain our peoplersquos relationship to our land and diversity

Our organization has conserved over 1300 acres of land in Becker Clearwater and Mahnomen coun-ties We hold these lands as a community land trust We acquired these lands for preservation through purchase and donation They are now used today as maple syrup producing forests or-ganic farmlands--on which we grow our ancient seeds and also conserve the graves of our ances-tors and forests full of our medicines
