Agricultural Resources of the Southeast
Maize, beans, squash, different types of nuts, grapes, persimmons, species of berries, roots, seeds, and honey
Food that was hunted: Fish, squirrels, possum, rabbits, turkeys, deer, waterfowl, insects, crabs, crawfish, and shellfish.
Housing
They had sturdy thatched roofs and had walls plastered with mud and had poles that were held together with branches and reeds.
Houses usually had matrilineal families living with them, which was a lot of people.
Religion
The southeastern Native Americans believed that the sun was a deity or god.
The main reason there was religion for these Native Americans was to maintain continuity and harmony.
Folklore
Seminole- The rabbit is a symbol of trickery or a trickster in Seminole folklore and other Muskogean tribes.
Seminole- The story of the creation of the Earth. The Seminoles believed that the Earth was discovered by people venturing through a cave

The children played with dolls
They played tag with an interesting stipulation, the person that was “it” would pretend to be a jaguar or a similar animal.
