6. Residence We have a few options for the residence. There are a couple of dormitories for the international students at UEC Tokyo. Their rents are varied depending on the location and dormitory types (from 20,000 JPY to 50,000 JPY). Many of our international students live in the private rented spaces (apartment houses) near the campus.

Screening Methods You will be screened and evaluated comprehensively based on the results of Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU 日本留学試験), TOEFL or TOEIC, academic achievement test and interview conducted by UEC, as well as academic performance reported by the school you are from:

➢ EJU 日本留学試験: Subjects: Japanese Sciences (Physics and Chemistry)* Mathematics (Course 2)* *You may choose either Japanese or English for the language used in these subjects. In case of you take EJU in both June and November, twice a year, the higher score will be regarded for your screening.

➢ TOEFL or TOEIC: You are required to submit the original score sheet of either of those English examinations within two years before the April that you are willing to be admitted.
