Committee Report Annual Meeting Planning Task Force Value Statement The Annual Meeting Planning Task Force develops the content and designs an annual meeting program that makes a compelling offer to attract members, provides a quality experience to attendees, and engages members in NSPE’s strategic mission and objectives. Charges 1. Design and implement professional development/training and networking opportunities for NSPE members and affiliates (technical education, leadership, professional development) during the July 2015 annual meeting in Bellevue, Washington. First Quarter Report (November 2014) Regular schedule of full task force conference calls being conducted. Selected closing session keynote speakers. Candidate opening session keynote speaker identified; budgetary impact being assessed. Preliminary schedule of speakers/topics prepared for Leadership & Education Tracks Identified new application within current mobile event guide to promote networking between attendees. Second Quarter Report (January 2015) Third Quarter Report (April 2015) Fourth Quarter Report (July 2015) 2. Facilitate & support NSPE House of Delegates, committee, interest group and other business meetings to advance NSPE’s Race for Relevance. First Quarter Report (November 2014) Block program schedule modified to accommodate pre-HoD assembly caucus session early in week and to better coordinate Interest Group and other committee meetings conducted during the annual meeting.
