INTRODUCTION

National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (NSIC) is an ISO 9001-2008 certified

Government of India Enterprises under the Ministry of Micro, small & Medium

Enterprises (MSME). NSIC has been working to fulfill its mission of promoting

aiding and fostering the growth of small industries and industries related to micro

transition, growth and development. NSIC has proved its strength within the

country and abroad by promoting modernization, quality consciousness,

strengthening linkages with large medium enterprises and enhancing exports,

products from small enterprises.

It operates through the countrywide network of offices and technical centers in the

country. To manage operations in African countries, NSIC has setup training cum

Incubation centers & with a large professional manpower; NSIC provides a

package of services as per the need of MSEM sector.

NSIC carries forward its mission to assist small industries and enterprises with a

set of specially tailored schemes designed to put them in a competitive and

advantageous position. The scheme comprises of facilitating the marketing

support, credit support, technology support and other services.

Technology is the key to enhance a company’s competitive advantages in today’s

time, they need to develop and implement a technology addition to financial,

marketing and operation strategies and adopt the conditions according to customers

and suppliers.

NSIC offers small enterprises the following support services through its Technical

Service centers and Extensions.

Advice on application of new technologies

Material testing facilities through accredited laboratories

Product design including CAD

Common facilities support in machining, EDM, CNC, etc.

Energy and environment services

Practical training for skill graduation
