National Simultaneous Story Time23rd May 2012
250 Infants children and their teachers, with a soft toy to hold, walked quietly into the “bear’s cave” for story time.
Waiting…waiting…waiting
Eyes closed…is that snoring we can hear????
The Bear is snoring…he rolls over & scratches himself!!!!
Cue the bear growling!!!!
Who has crept into the bear’s cave to get out of the rain??
A moose, a lion, a zebra and a sheep were just looking for a dry place to play cards.
Oh dear, the bear is awake and very cranky!
The Zebra thinks “stripes” will cheer up the bear.
The Lion thinks a lovely mane will cheer up the Bear.
The Moose thinks antlers will cheer up the Bear. Sadly not!!
All he wants is some peace and quiet!
The Sheep has a great idea!
The Very Cranky Bear is sound asleep on his lambs wool pillow
The Very Cranky Bear finally gets some sleep!!
and later in the classrooms……
