Since our doorsopened we have solely focused on science-based physical education, training andfitness.Developedwithacollege-levelcurriculumtoprovidethemostin-depthPersonalFitness education in the country. NPTI officially became accredited by ACCSC in 2014andshortlythereafterbecameeligibleforparticipationinFederalStudentAidprogramsin 2016. National Personal Training Institute, Inc. is dedicated to the evolution ofpersonalfitnesstraining.PROGRAMSOneclockhourequals50minutesoftrainingtime.Coursesarecompletedsequentiallyasoffered.ThecoursenumbersarebasedoncoursecodesestablishedbyNPTIanddonotrelatetostatecommonnumberingsystems.PersonalFitnessTraining-600HoursTheNationalPersonalTrainingInstituteofferscomprehensivefitnesscoursesdesignedtofurther your knowledge in body building, exercise physiology, weight management,weighttraining,andpersonaltraining.Ourtrainingprogramsarehands-onthroughoutgiving students opportunities to experience being a Personal Fitness Trainer. Please read carefully prior tosigningtheEnrollmentAgreement.LanguageAllcoursesareofferedonlyinEnglish.HighSchool/SecondarySchoolTranscriptsTheminimumacademicrequirementforadmissionisthecompletionofhighschoolorsecondaryschool.Thehighschoolorsecondarydocumentationisrequiredevenifyouhavecollegeoruniversitywork.Atranscript(recordofsubjects/coursesandgrades)andverificationofgraduationisrequired.Thedocument(s)mustrepresenttheequivalenceofhighschoolgraduationintheU.S.AlldocumentsnotwritteninEnglishmustbesubmittedalongwithacertifiedEnglishtranslation.PleasecontactAdmissionsforthespecificdocumentsrequired.TransferofCreditNationalPersonalTrainingInstitute,Inc.doesnotacceptcreditoradvancedstandingforprevious education or training. The practical part of the Personal Fitness Training is alsoconductedonsite.Theclassroomcanaccommodateupto40students.Thetotalspaceis6,451squarefeetandincludesagym,administrativeoffices,andclassrooms. Teachingisdonethroughlecture,video,practicaldemonstration,hands-onexperiences,andwrittenmaterial.
InstitutionResourceCenterThe institution resource center is appropriate to the programs offered. It containsinstructionalvideos,journals,texts,technicalmanuals,referencebooks,magazines,andvideoandaudio tapesonpersonal fitness.Studentsand instructorsmayuse resourcecentermaterialswhileoncampus.Noneofthecoursesrequirethestudenttousethe

The personal interview gives the institution an opportunity to evaluate theapplicantanddetermineeligibility.

AcceptancebyInstitutionTheapplicantwillbeinformedoftheadmissionsdecisionattheendoftheinterviewandafterreviewandacceptanceofrequireddocuments.STUDENTSERVICESCorporatePolicyforStudentswithDisabilitiesInorderforstudentstogetspecialaccommodations,theymustdisclosetheirdisabilitytoNPTIinwriting.NPTImusthavewrittendocumentationfromthestudent’sphysicianorpsychologistofthetypeofdisabilityandwhat,ifany,accommodationsarerequiredforthestudent.NPTIfollowsSection504oftheRehabilitationActanddoesnotdiscriminateorexcludeindividualswithdisabilitiesfromattendingtheprogram.StudentRecords/TranscriptsStudentrecordsareretainedperpetuallyattheinstitution.Recordsofacademicprogressarefurnishedtothestudent. Onetranscriptisprovidedtostudentsupongraduationandfulfillment of tuition obligations. Additional official and unofficial transcripts areavailabletostudentsuponwrittenrequestandforafeeof$10.00.Studentrecordswillbeprovidedtopotentialemployersonlyafterawrittenrequesthasbeenmadebytheindividualstudent. Computerrecordsarebackedupweeklyandstoredoffcampus.Forthosestudentswhoaredeniedentry,dismissedorterminatedfromNPTI,recordswillberetained permanently.AcademicAdvisementAcademic advisement consists of determining whether the applicant has anunderstandinginareassuchasbodybuilding,exercisephysiology,weightmanagement,weighttrainingandpersonaltraining.FinancialaidAdvisementNPTIOrlandooffersFinancialAidatthistime.TheFinancialAidAdministratorprovidesinformationaboutfinancialaid.

PersonalAdvisement/CounselingInstructors and staff will assist students who seem to be having academic difficultypreventing them from success. The faculty and staff are available by appointment orinformallytomeetwithstudents.Ifrequired,studentsmaybereferredtoprofessionalservicesinthecommunity.CareerServices/JobPlacementAssistanceJobPlacementServicesorassistanceshallbeprovidedtoallgraduateswithoutadditionalcharge. No guarantee of placement directly or indirectly is implied. The NationalPersonalTrainingInstituteemploysafull-timejobplacementcounselorwhomaintainsacurrent listing of available positions, seeks to locate potential employers, and assistsgraduates with placement. Every effort is made to help graduates find suitableemployment; however, National Personal Training Institute cannot promise orguaranteeemploymenttoanyone.ACADEMICINFORMATIONANDSTANDARDSOFPROGRESSSyllabiOnthefirstdayofclassstudentsreceiveacopyofthecoursesyllabiandcourseoutlines.Thestudentcatalogisavailableoneweekpriortoclassesbeginning.Studentsalsoreceiveacatalogatthetimeofenrollment.AttendanceDailyattendance isrequired.Adailyreport isaccuratelykeptontrainees’attendance.Excessivetardinessandabsenteeismwillbecauseforpossibleinterruptionoftraining.Occasionallysituationsoccurthatconflictwithtraining.Thefollowingareguidelines.AbsencesExcusedandnon-excusedabsencesareconsideredthesamewhencomputingmaximumnumberofallowableabsences.UnsatisfactoryAttendance iswhenastudent isabsentmorethan30%ofthescheduledclasstime.Ifastudenthasunsatisfactoryattendanceuponthestatedevaluationpoint(s),thestudentisplacedonProbationuntilthefollowingconditionsaremet:ü Thestudentestablishessatisfactoryprogressormeetstheconditionsofprobation.ü Thestudenthascorrectedtheproblemsthatcausedtheunsatisfactoryattendance.ü Thestudenthassatisfactorilycompletedworkmissedbecauseoftheabsenceeither

TardinessLateness or leaving class is documented on the quarter hour. Over two hours’ earlydepartureequalsonefulldayabsence.Make-upWorkMake-upworkisrequiredforanyabsence.Hoursofmake-upworkwillnotbeacceptedashoursofclassattendance.Teststhatarenottakenasaresultofanabsencemustbemadeupwithinatimeframedeterminedbytheinstructor.LeavesofAbsence/WithdrawalAstudentmaybegrantedaleaveofabsenceforamaximumof120days.Arequestforleavemustbeinwriting.Astudentwhoisnotmakingsatisfactoryacademicprogress,hasbeenplacedonprobationstatus,thatrequestsaleaveofabsencewillalsoreturnonthesamestatus.Astudentwhoseleaveisapproved,isreasonablyexpectedtoreturninthesameweekofinstruction,asthestudent’slastdateofattendancefellwithin.ThisdatemustbespecifiedinthestudentswrittenrequesttothecollegeDirector.Ifthestudentdoesnotre-enterwithinthespecifiedtime,orattendsanothercollege/institution andreceivesfederalstudentaid,thestudent’senrollmentagreementwillbeterminatedands/hewill be granted a refund according to the refund policy. TheWithdrawal date isdeterminedbythelastdatethestudentattendedclass.ProbationAstudentwillbeplacedonAcademicProbationifatanypointwhereastudentfailstomeetsatisfactoryacademicprogressstandards.Re-EntryAstudentwhohaswithdrawnorhasbeenterminatedandwantstore-entertheirtrainingprogram must notify the Institution Director and follow the required admissionprocedures.AstudentwhowasterminatedforanyreasoncanmeetwiththeInstitutionDirector and show why s/he should be re-admitted and how the student will meetprogramrequirements.Thedecisionof the InstitutionDirectorwillbemadebasedonthe studentmeeting program requirements. The timeframe for reentrymust be 180daysfromdateofwithdrawalorterminationforresidentstudents.GraduationGraduationceremoniesareheldaftereachsession.Uponsatisfactorycompletionofallacademicrequirementsandtuitionobligations, thestudent isawardedaDiplomaandtranscript.Additionaltranscriptsmayberequestedatafeeof$10.00each.GradingStudents must maintain a grade average of 70% or better in order to satisfactorilycompletetheirprograms.Gradesfortestsandprojectsareasfollows:

Bi-weeklytestsaregiventoevaluatestudentprogressintheclassroom.Studentswhoare having difficulty may repeat the module or practice work. During this time, thestudentistoworkwiththeinstructortoimprovethegrade.Gradescanbeimprovedbyre-takingexamsafterreviewingfailedsubjectmatter.Anexammaybere-takenatotalof2times.
Recordsofacademicprogressaremaintainedbytheinstitutionforuptosevenyears.
TerminationAnNPTI–Orlandostudentwillbeterminatedifthestudenthasunexcusedabsencesfor14 days consecutively or exhausts maximum completion timeframe of 150% of theprogram.OfficialWithdrawals:Studentsmustnotifythedirectorinwritingoftheirintentiontowithdrawfromtheprogram.Forpurposesofcancellation,thedateshallbethelastdayofattendance.UnofficialWithdrawals:DismissalPolicy–Studentswhofailtocomplywithattendance,academicrequirements,orthecodeofstudentconductaresubjecttodismissalbythedirector.Areviewandconferencewiththedirectorwillbescheduleduponinfraction.TheunexplainedabsenceofastudentfromNPTIformorethan14schooldaysshallconstitutenoticeofcancellationtoNPTI.Forpurposesofcancellation,thedateshallbethelastdayofattendance.ChangesmadebyInstitutionIftheinstitutioncancelsorchangesaprogramofstudyorlocationinsuchawaythatthestudentwhohasstartedisunabletocompletetraining,arrangementswillbemadeina timelymanner toaccommodate the student. If the institution isunable tomakealternative arrangements that are satisfactory to both parties, the institution willrefundallmoneypaidbythestudent.Anychangeswillbestapledtothecatalogand/orsenttostudentsandwillbeapprovedbytheCommissionforIndependentEducation.
ProgramCompletionTimeandMaximumTimeforCompletionThe standard completion time for the program is 18 weeks. For undergraduateprogramsmeasured inclockhourstheprogramlengthforcompletionwillnotexceed150percentofthestandardcompletionexpectation.Thisisrepresentedbycumulativenumber of clock hours and calendar time. (Example 18weeks, plus 9weeks, not toexceed27weeks).

Afteryourloanmoneyisdisbursed,therearetwowaystocancelallorpartofyourloan:
• Submitwrittenthatyouwanttocancelallorpartofthatloanwithin14daysafterthedatetheschoolnotifiesyouofyourrighttocancelallorpartoftheloan,
• Orbythefirstdayoftheschool’spaymentperiod,whicheverislater(theschool
cantellyouthefirstdayofthepaymentperiod).• Within120daysofthedatetheschooldisbursedyourloanmoney(bycrediting
theloanmoneytoyouroryourdependentstudent’saccountattheschool,bypayingitdirectlytoyou,orboth),youmayreturnallorpartofyourloantous.
• ContacttheDirectLoanServicingCenterforguidanceonhowandwheretoreturnyourloanmoney.Youdonothavetopayinterestortheloanfeeonthepartofyourloanthatyoureturnwithin120daysofthedatethatpartofyourloanisdisbursed.Ifyoureceivedanup-frontinterestrebateonyourloan,therebatedoesnotapplytothepartofyourloanthatyoureturn.Yourloanwillbeadjustedtoeliminateanyinterest,loanfee,andrebateamountthatappliestotheamountoftheloanthatyoureturn.
Federal(TitleIV)RefundPolicy:NPTIOrlandowilldeterminetheamountofTitleIVprogramassistancethatastudentearnsifhe/shewithdrawsfromNPTI.TheTitleIVprogramsthatarecoveredbythislaware:FederalPellGrants,IraqandAfghanistanServiceGrants,TEACHGrants,DirectLoans,DirectPLUSLoans,FederalSupplementalEducationalOpportunityGrants(FSEOGs),andFederalPerkinsLoans.Ifastudentcancelshis/hercontract,thecancellationdatewillbedeterminedbythepostmarkonwrittennotificationorthedatesaidinformationisdeliveredtoNPTI’sFinancialAidAdministrator/Directorinperson.Shouldanyaidbedisbursedpriortothestartofclass,allfundswillbereturnedinfulltotheappropriateagency.Thoughyouraidispostedtoyouraccountatthestartofeachperiod,youearnthefundsasyoucompletetheperiod.Ifyouwithdrawduringyourpaymentperiod,theamountofTitleIVprogramassistancethatyouhaveearneduptothatpointisdeterminedbyaReturntoTitleIvFundsformula.TheFinancialAidDepartmentadministerstheReturntoTitleIVFundsCalculation(R2T4).AllR2T4calculationsarebasedonthestudents’lastdateofattendanceasprovidedbythestudents’attendancerecords.TheR2T4determinestheamountofaidthatwasearnedandisbasedonthepaymentperiod.Afterthestudent,hascompleted60%ofthepaymentperiod,noreturnsaredue.TheR2T4iscompletedforallwithdrawalstodetermineifthestudentisapprovedforapostwithdrawaldisbursement.NPTIwilldeterminetheactualdatethestudentstartedthepaymentperiodandthelastdateofattendanceandwillfigurethescheduledclockhourswithinthatperiodoftime.Thenumberofclockhoursthestudentwasscheduledtocompletewithinthatpayment

periodisdividedbythetotalnumberofclockhoursinthatpaymentperiodtodeterminepercentcompleted.ThedaysastudentwasonaLeaveofAbsencearenotincludedinthiscalculation.TheR2T4doesnotdictateNPTI’srefundpolicyandisnotbasedonthestudent’seducationcharges,onlythescheduledtimewithinthepaymentperiodinwhichthestudentdrops.ThispolicyisseparatefromNPTI’sInstitutionalRefundPolicy.AllstudentswhoutilizeTitleIVfundingwillhavetheR2T4calculationcompletedpriortocalculatingtheInstitutionalRefundPolicy.AstudentmayowefundsforunpaidchargestoNPTItocovereducationcharges.NPTIwillrefundanyunearnedTitleIVaidduewithinforty-five(45)daysofthedateofdetermination.Ifyoureceived(orNPTIorparentreceivedonyourbehalf)lessassistancethantheamountthatyouearned,youmaybeabletoreceivethoseadditionalfunds.Ifyoureceivedmoreassistancethanyouearned,theexcessfundsmustbereturnedbyNPTIand/oryou.Theamountofassistancethatyouhaveearnedisdeterminedonaproratabasis.Forexample,ifyoucompleted30%ofyourpaymentperiod,youearn30%oftheassistanceyouwereoriginallyscheduledtoreceive.Onceyouhavecompletedmorethan60%ofthepaymentperiod,youearnalltheassistancethatyouwerescheduledtoreceiveforthatperiod.ReturnofTitleIVFinancialAidPolicyThestudent’sresponsibilitiesinregardtotheReturntoTitleIVfundsareasfollows:
• ReturnunearnedTitleIVFundsthatweredisbursedtothestudentwhereinthestudentwasdeemedineligible,basedontheR2T4calculation
• Whenpossible,thestudentshouldnotifyNPTIinwritingofofficialwithdrawal.• Ifthestudentcancelstheirdecisiontowithdraw,thestudentmustnotifyNPTIin
writingwithinthreebusinessdaysofthedateoftheoriginalwithdrawal.• Allrequeststowithdraworcancelarequesttowithdrawmustbedeliveredto
NPTI’sfinancialaidoffice.• StudentborrowersoftheDirectStaffordLoansarerequiredtoattendor
completeanonlineExitInterviewbeforeleavingNPTI.
Ifyoudidnotreceiveallofthefundsthatyouearned,youmaybedueapost-withdrawaldisbursement.Ifyourpost-withdrawaldisbursementincludesloanfunds,NPTImustgetyourpermissionbeforeitcandisbursethem.Youmaychoosetodeclinesomeoralloftheloanfundssothatyoudon’tincuradditionaldebt.NPTImayautomaticallyusealloraportionofyourpost-withdrawaldisbursementofgrantfundsfortuition,fees,androomandboardcharges(ascontractedwithNPTI).NPTIneedsyourpermissiontousethepost-withdrawalgrantdisbursementforallotherschoolcharges.Ifyoudonotgiveyourpermission(someschoolsaskforthiswhenyouenroll),youwillbeofferedthefunds.However,itmaybeinyourbestinteresttoallowNPTIto

keepthefundstoreduceyourdebtattheschool.TherearesomeTitleIVfundsthatyoumightbescheduledtoreceivethatcannotbedisbursedtoyouonceyouwithdrawbecauseofothereligibilityrequirements.Forexample,ifyouareafirst-time,first-yearundergraduatestudentandyouhavenotcompletedthefirst30daysofyourprogrambeforeyouwithdraw,youwillnotreceiveanyDirectLoanfundsthatyouwouldhavereceivedhadyouremainedenrolledpastthe30thday.Ifyoureceive(orNPTIorparentreceiveonyourbehalf)excessTitleIVprogramfundsthatmustbereturned,NPTImustreturnaportionoftheexcessequaltothelesserof:
1. yourinstitutionalchargesmultipliedbytheunearnedpercentageofyourfunds,or
2. theentireamountofexcessfunds.NPTImustreturnthisamountevenifitdidn’tkeepthisamountofNPTITitleIVprogramfunds.
IfNPTIisnotrequiredtoreturnalloftheexcessfunds,youmustreturntheremainingamount.Anyloanfundsthatyoumustreturn,you(oryourparentforaDirectPLUSLoan)repayinaccordancewiththetermsofthepromissorynote.Thatis,youmakescheduledpaymentstotheholderoftheloanoveraperiodoftime.Anyamountofunearnedgrantfundsthatyoumustreturniscalledanoverpayment.Themaximumamountofagrantoverpaymentthatyoumustrepayishalfofthegrantfundsyoureceivedorwerescheduledtoreceive.Youdonothavetorepayagrantoverpaymentiftheoriginalamountoftheoverpaymentis$50orless.YoumustmakearrangementswithNPTIortheDepartmentofEducationtoreturntheunearnedgrantfunds.Anystudentwhowithdrawsofficiallyorunofficiallywillbemadeawareofthepossibleconsequencesofwithdrawing.Forfinancialaidstudents,repaymentonFederalLoansbegins6monthsfromtheirlastdateofattendance.StudentswhotookafullLeaveofAbsence(LOA)andwhodidnotreturnfromtheLOAwillgointoimmediaterepayment.ForLOAstherepaymentwillbeeffectiveoftheinitialLOAdate.TheR2T4doesnotdictateNPTI’srefundpolicyandisnotbasedonthestudent’seducationcharges,onlythescheduledtimewithinthepaymentperiodinwhichthestudentdrops.ThispolicyisseparatefromNPTI’sInstitutionalRefundPolicy.AllstudentswhoutilizeTitleIVfundingwillhavetheR2T4calculationcompletedpriortocalculatingtheInstitutionalRefundPolicy.AstudentmayowefundsforunpaidchargestoNPTItocovereducationcharges.IfNPTIisrequiredtoreturnfederalfunds,NPTIwillreturnFederalAiddisbursedthatwascreditedtothestudent’saccountforthepaymentperiodinwhichthestudentwithdrew.NPTIwillrefundanyunearnedTitleIVaiddue

• astudentdoesnotcompletealltheclockhourswithinthescheduleprogramcompletiondates.
• astudentstopscomingtoclasswithorwithoutofficialnotification.
• astudentceasescomingtoclassandisnotscheduledtorestarttheprogramwithin45daysaftertheendoftheincompletemoduleorisnotonanapprovedleaveofabsence.
• astudentwhodidnotreturnfromeitheranapprovedoranunapprovedleaveofabsence.
TherequirementsforTitleIVprogramfundswhenyouwithdrawareseparatefromanyrefundpolicythatNPTImayhave.Therefore,youmaystillowefundstoNPTItocoverunpaidinstitutionalcharges.NPTImayalsochargeyouforanyTitleIVprogramfundsthatNPTIwasrequiredtoreturn.Ifyoudon’talreadyknowNPTI’srefundpolicy,youshouldaskNPTIforacopy.NPTIcanalsoprovideyouwiththerequirementsandproceduresforofficiallywithdrawingfromNPTI.IfNPTI’sInstitutionalRefundCalculationindicatesthestudentstillowesNPTI,thedebttoNPTImustbepaidinfullbeforethereleaseoftranscripts.IfyouhavequestionsaboutyourTitleIVprogramfunds,youcancalltheFederalStudentAidInformationCenterat1-800-4-FEDAID(1-800-433-3243).InformationisalsoavailableonStudentAidontheWebatwww.studentaid.ed.gov.

SATISFACTORYACADEMICPROGRESSPOLICY:NationalPersonalTrainingInstituteisa600-hourclockhourprogramandassuchiseligibletoreceivefinancialaiddisbursementsin2installments;thefirstinstallmentduring0–300hoursofstudentattendanceandweeks.Thesecondinstallmentwhen
stthestudentcompleteshis/her301hourofattendanceandweeksandisdemonstratingsatisfactoryacademicprogress(SAP).Satisfactoryacademicprogressisdefinedasastudentmaintaininga70%attendancerateandaminimumGPAof2.0.SAPstandardsareappliedconsistentlytoallstudents.StudentsreceivingTitleIVFederalStudentFinancialAidaresubjecttotheSatisfactoryAcademicProgressPolicyasrequiredtocomplywiththeU.S.DepartmentofEducation.Thepolicyiswell-definedintermsofspecificminimumrequirementsforattendance,completionofassignments,academicperformance,participationinthepracticalprogram,andmaximumallowedtimetocompletethecourse.Thepolicyspecificallyprovidesstudentstatusdefinitionsfor:SAPmetorSAPnotmet.Satisfactoryacademicprogress(SAP)isdefinedasproceedingtowardsuccessfulcompletionofprogramrequirements.FederalregulationsrequirethatNPTIOrlandomonitorstheacademicprogressofeachapplicantforfinancialassistanceandthatNPTIOrlandocertifiesthattheapplicantismakingsatisfactoryacademicprogresstowardsearninghis/hercertificate.Financialaidrecipientsmustmaintainsatisfactoryprogressinthethreeareaslistedbelow:1. MaximumTimeLimitItistheNPTIstudent’sresponsibilitytostayinformedofTheNationalPersonalTrainingInstituteofOrlando’sSAPstandardsandtomonitortheirprogress.ForSAPpurposes,students’academicrecordsarereviewedbyNPTImanagementandthestudent’sprimaryinstructorattheendofeachpaymentperiod.FederalregulationsrequireNPTI–OrlandotoestablishStandardsofSatisfactoryAcademicProgress,involvingbothqualitative(cumulativegradepointaverage)andquantitative(hoursearnedcomparedtohoursattempted),andamaximumlengthofstudy.NPTIevaluatessatisfactoryacademicprogressandtheendofeachpaymentperiod.IfdeterminedattheendofthepaymentperiodastudentisnotmeetingtheSAP

requirementsthestudentwillbenotifiedandplacedonFinancialAidProbation.IfthestudenthasbeenplacedonFinancialAidprobationthestudentwillberequiredtosubmitanacademicappeal.ThisrequirementappliestoallapplicantsforanyHEAprogramfundsincluding(asapplicabletoNPTIOrlandoandtotheNPTIstudent)FederalPellGrants,FederalWork-Study,theWilliamD.FordDirectLoanProgram,whichincludestheFederalStaffordandUnsubsidizedStaffordLoansforstudents,andFederalPLUSLoansforparentsofundergraduatestudents.ThesamestandardsmayapplytoallassistancefromtheStateofFloridaandallotheraidthatisdeterminedbytheScholarshipsandStudentAidOffice.TobeeligibleforfinancialaidatNPTI-Orlando,whetherornotaidwasreceivedinthepast,studentsmustbeincompliancewithallthreeofthefollowingareas:cumulativeGPA,hoursearned,andmaximumlengthofstudy.CumulativeGradePointAverage(GPA)StudentsmustmaintaintheminimumcumulativegradepointaverageofaC,or70%forsatisfactoryprogresstowardgraduationrequirements.HoursEarned(ComparedtoHoursAttempted)StandardtotalhoursforsuccessfulcompletionoftheNPTI-Orlandoprogramis600hours.Toremaineligibleforfinancialaid,studentsmustmeetSAPor70%completionand2.0CumulativeGPAattheendofeachpaymentperiod.MaximumLengthofStudyToremaineligibleforfinancialaid,studentsmustcompletetheircourseworkwithin150%ofthepublishedlengthoftheacademicprogram.Forexample,studentsinNPTI-Orlando’s600-hour,18-weekprogramwillbeeligibleforfinancialaidforamaximumof27weeksasastudent(18weeksx150%=27weeks).Studentsmayre-takethecourse.However,studentshaveamaximumof27weekstograduateafterinitialenrollment.FinancialAidAcademicStandingIfattheendofthefirstpaymentperiod,thestudentisnotmeetingminimumSAPrequirements,thestudentwillbeplacedonFinancialaidprobationforthenextpaymentperiod.Federalfinancialaidmaybeawardedduringthatperiodwithanapprovedappeal.NOTE:Astudent’stranscriptwillincludethefollowingnotationasappropriate:FinancialAidGoodStandingorFinancialAidProbation

Afterawarningterm,theCumulativeGPAisbelow2.0%.2. Afterawarningterm,theCumulativeCompletionRateisbelow70%.3. Behavior that denigrates the integrity of anotherstudent(hazing)willnotbetolerated.Ifastudentoremployeefeelsthatheorshehassuffered a form of discrimination or harassment, the individual should immediatelycontactasupervisororinstitutiondirector.Studentsorstaffinvolvedmaybesubjecttotermination.UnresolvedDisputes/GrievanceProceduresGrievance procedures are provided for students who believe that they have beenunlawfully discriminated against, unfairly treated, or harassed in any way. Academicgrievancesrelatetoacomplaintaboutacourse,programofstudy,orgrade.Students are expected to address any disagreements or conflict directly with theindividual involved in person with a written document outlining the complaint andcommunication.Afterthis,ifthereisnosatisfactoryresolution,thestudentmaysetanappointmentbyphonetoseetheInstitutionDirector.Allcommunicationsregardingthecomplaintmustbeinwritingandallmeetingsandcommunicationswillbedocumentedinthestudentfile.Everyattemptatasatisfactoryresolutionwillbemade.Thegrievancepolicyisasfollows:
