How it all began…
Between Lust and Frustration – Active Women in the AIDS Crisis November 1992 Gay Men = well networked, integrated in
the AIDS-NGO system (Aids-Hilfe) Women = more isolated, whether living
with HIV or dealing with it Don‘t complain, get involved!

Expectation
don‘t re-invent the wheel Info-Pool! Low level entry for all interested! no hierarchy (?) politically engaged (Lobbying!)
Harriet Langanke ● GSSG ● Germany
Who is the Network? a loose alliance
no registered association, no membership.. Every woman who wants to participate
Curiosity is enough! Participation desired! Continuously evolving body of members
including: mothers, physicians, social workers, with
HIV, not tested, German and non German...
Harriet Langanke ● GSSG ● Germany
Why not a registered association?
To stay open, no binding bylaws
To stay accessible
Not a necessity, as long as the Deutsche AIDS-Hilfe (DAH) and the Foundation (GSSG) are helping
