    Grant activities:Training, planning, purchasing equipment, developing schoolgardens, developing partnerships and implementing Farm toSchool activities.

    Amount: Up to $100,000 (School Districts may apply directly)

    Funding: $5 Million beginning October 2012 (FY 2013)

    Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP)

    Requirements to apply: Be an elementary school

    Operate the National School Lunch Program

    Have 50% or greater of enrolled students eligiblefor free and reduced price meals

    Received $10.8 million 2011-12 (FY) funding 315 schools at $60 perstudent.
