    NATIONAL CHAPLAIN Carson Mattingly

    NATIONAL REPORTER Jon Hare

Being surrounded by the great leaders of Beta has shown me how to be an effective leader for my nation, state, community and school, states Hill. Dawson is very active in his school, church and community as a student-athlete and leader. Hell continue that involvement moving into Bloomfield High in Missouri, where he is looking forward to four more successful years in Beta. This is a great experience for anyone ready to step out of their comfort zone. Be active in Beta and make a difference in the lives of those around you.

I cant imagine my life without Beta being a part of it. Having the opportunity to be not only a State, but National Officer has opened many doors for me, states Ashley. Through Beta, Buzzy has developed an awareness of the importance of community service. Next year, his Beta career will take him at Muhlenberg County High in Kentucky. I have met some amazing people along the way. And through that, Ive learned that in order to get the most out of your Beta experience, one has to plug in and get involved. I promise, you will not regret it.

I have learned through being a Beta member to look for opportunities to lead in everything I do, states McCubbin. Beta will continue to be a big part of Peytons future, as she plans to be a member at Taylor County High School in Kentucky. She wants all Betas to remember, Dont just show up to Beta events, be a PART of the experience. Use your years in the Beta to acquire the skills needed to lead your community and state, and of course, have fun while doing it!

Through Beta, Ive met others who encourage me to try my best and be the best I can be, states Mattingly. As a 7th grader at Bloomfield Middle School in Kentucky, Carson stands out as an energetic leader in the classroom, on the ball field and in his church. Carson shares, Beta is just an all around great experience where you meet amazing people, help your community and spread happiness.

I will never forget when I walked into Tennessee State Convention. It was the biggest group of people Id ever seen. Needless to say, the Beta Bug Bit! states Hare. Jon is a 5th grader at West Side School where baseball, the outdoors and his family take precedent for him. He has traveled all over the country sharing more about all things Beta, including his favorite - Leadership Camp! Im glad that I have many more years to be an active part of Beta. I wear my grandfathers 1966 Beta Club pin on my lapel and I plan on my grandchild wearing his and mine someday. Never forget... Once a Beta, always a Beta!
