Insulated Test Links and Terminals / Terminal and Bus Connectors

National Electric Gate Testing Links are utilized for applications to any two post terminal where open or closed circuit tests are needed. The Central Insulated Test Link and Insulated Test Terminals allows open and closed circuit tests to

be made without disturbing connections on either side of the circuit and also provides a convenient means to open and close a circuit for test purposes.

Ordering Information

National Electric Gate Terminal and Bus Connectors are of bright nickel plated copper and are available in a variety of lengths with mounting centers ranging from 1” to 2-3/8”.

RR1 Bond Strand Bare & Insulated

Applications

For use in low voltage track circuit applications, NECCO Bond Strand is available both bare and insulated.

Construction

A single, tinned over bare cadmiumbronze conductor (7 x 19 concentric strands, each 0.0132 inch) with an overall circular mil area of 22,173 can be insulated with either polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or rubber/neoprene.

Advantages

An extremely flexible, yet rugged cable, our Bond Strand is clean stripping, and the specially tempered cadmium bronze hold its shape while being terminated.

Our High Wind Profile Gates are designed to withstand higher wind speeds than other gates we offer. The inner strength member allows for the gate to withstand impact; and the “step” design significantly decreases the sur-face area of each section allowing more tolerance for high wind speeds. All of our High Wind Profile Gates can be ordered in any length ranging from 8’ to 40’.

• Our Alumi-Lite High Wind Profile Gate utilizes aluminum for every section of the gate.

The tone of the bell is on a microchip and is sounded thru an outdoorspeaker. The warning sound is a duplicate of the mechanical bell sound. It utilizes the same electrical leads as the mechanical bell and is positioned on top of the mast pole. The electronic bell meets or exceeds all the arema specifications. The bell circuit draws less than 0.15 amps, which is 10 percent of the current draw of the mechanical bell. Sound reading range of 85 to 95 decibels in a 180 degree plane. 250 strokes per minute. Operating voltage of 10 + - 25 % volts dc . Mounts to a 4 or 5 inch mast pole. There is access to the volume control. Dimensions of bell upon request. Weight is less than 10 pounds.

Flex Tip Sections


National Electric Gate has realized a usage for a short tip section that is flexible in use and can be used to fit in the second or third sections of the crossing gate arm in usage today. This section allows the crossing gate arm to remain in place if a car or truck illegally passes a crossing gate arm in a down position. This section then returns to its original position. LIGHT BRACKET

Our new sliding light bracket is an added dimension to the already existing telescoping adjustable gate arms of ours. The sliding light bracket along with our coil, cord assembly makes this gate arm unit a very simple maintenance free assembly to install and maintain. The sliding light bracket (SLB) makes the installation of the gate arms and light a very easy process. Adjustments are timeless, using the set screws, and all parts are interchangeable and can be pur-chased piecemeal. Your installation time now for the gate arms should save your maintainer 50% of his time. The SLB spacers allows a firm fit on any section of the gate arms.

The purpose of these 2 different lamp heads is to maintain proper current flow to the LED Tip Lamp. The IXC, CCU-2, and XLC crossing controllers are some crossing controllers that require a special diode setup in the Tip Lamp to ensure proper functionality. Some symptoms of erratic behavior include not being able to sync the lights correctly (Tip light not staying solid), flickering lights, and lights not fully extinguishing when flashing.

Installation InstructionsUnlike our competitor you are not required to purchase any additional parts to make these Tip Lamps function. We have internally wired the fix for you and all you will need to do is replace your current tip lamp with the new RD-A or RD-B. You can order an individual head to retro fit an existing light set or you can order a complete reverse diode light kit. In either instance make sure that the tip lamp that is labeled RD-A or RD-B is positioned as the TIP LAMP or it will not function correctly and could cause an LED failure. *Note* The Mid and Base lamp heads will not be marked at all, so position those in their normal location.

The tone of the bell is on a microchip and is sounded thru an outdoor speaker. The warning sound is a duplicate of the mechanical bell sound. It utilizes the same electrical leads as the mechanical bell and is positioned on top of the mast pole. The electronic bell meets or exceeds all the arema specifications. The bell circuit draws less than 0.15 amps, which is 10 percent of the current draw of the mechanical bell. Sound reading range of 85 to 95 decibels in a 180 degree plane. 250 strokes per minute. Insulated Test Links and Terminals / Terminal and Bus Connectors

National Electric Gate Testing Links are utilized for applications to any two post terminal where open or closed circuit tests are needed. The Central Insulated Test Link and Insulated Test Terminals allows open and closed circuit tests to

be made without disturbing connections on either side of the circuit and also provides a convenient means to open and close a circuit for test purposes.


National Electric Gate Terminal and Bus Connectors are of bright nickel plated copper and are available in a variety of lengths with mounting centers ranging from 1” to 2-3/8”.
