National Domestic Preparedness Consortium (NDPC)National Domestic Preparedness Consortium (NDPC)• is a partnership of several nationally

recognized organizations whose membership is based on the urgent need to address the counter-terrorism preparedness needs of the nation’s emergency first responders within the context of all hazards including chemical, biological, radiological, and explosive Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) hazards.

NDPC Mission StatementNDPC Mission Statement

• is to enhance the preparedness of federal, state, local, and tribal emergency responders/first receivers and teams, including non-governmental organizations and the private sector, to reduce the Nation’s vulnerability to incidents involving weapons of mass destruction, terrorism, – and all-hazard high-

consequence events by developing, delivering, and assessing plans, training, technical assistance, and

exercises.3

need to take. • If you do not have a FEMA SID or can’t remember your

FEMA SID visit https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid/. There you will be able to register or retrieve your SID number. All participants for FEMA training must have a valid FEMA SID to attend courses, regardless of delivery mode (resident, mobile, or online)

• Get approval through your internal chain of command.• Find your SAA TPOC - all courses, other than online

• The Advanced Responder Training Complex (ARTC) offers a cross-section of environments found in any community throughout the nation.

• The complex provides responders with a realistic training environment, to exercise the skills acquired during training.

• The ARTC includes a remodeled industrial park complex with simulated office space, medical clinic, fast food restaurant, facility maintenance, biomedical laboratory, calibration laboratory, and shipping/receiving office.

Resident Training

• If you are a state, local, or tribal government emergency responder, this training is completely funded by DHS at no cost to you or your jurisdiction.– We fly you into Atlanta

airport, pick you up, transport you to the CDP, and provide all meals and lodging.

• The Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) currently offers four (4) Train the Trainer courses.– (TtT) courses, recognizing

successful graduates as Indirect Trainers for their home state in accordance with the State/Territory/Tribal Training point of contact directive

adequate strategies and security measures to prevent or mitigate security incidents which may occur during scheduled events.
