Plant” project: The

project cost is approx.

1,000.0 million US $, and

its implementation period

is 3 years. The plant is

expected to process 2.0

million tons of iron ore

and produce steel and

iron products, such as

steel plates, railway rails

and other large-sized

metal parts. Pre-

feasibility study is made.

Detailed feasibility study

(FS) needs to be carried

out. The plant will be lo-

cated in either Darkhan

or Sainshand regions,

Mongolia.

project: The project cost is

approx. 900.0 million US $

and the implementation

period is 3 years. The

plant’s refinery capacity is

1.0 million tons of crude

oil per annum. Mongolia

is becoming an oil produc-

ing nation. An appropri-

ate technology will be se-

lected to process domestic

crude oil and a refinery

will be constructed to

meet domestic demand

for petroleum and petro-

leum products. MMRE is

currently conducted 3 fea-

sibility studies on oil re-

finery projects.
