STEPS TAKEN Crisis Management group comprising principal secretaries of Agriculture & Line Department under Chairmanship of Chief Secretary monitors on regular basis. Weekly Video conferencing by Chief Secretary with all
District Magistrate. Weekly District task force meeting under the Chairmanship
of District Magistrate. Regular monitoring of Canal irrigation, Minor irrigation & Tube well irrigation at top level. Control room to monitor electricity supply in rural areas.

Advisory to farmers in daily news papers regularly.
SAU’s & KVK’s scientist with District officials visited
affected villages regularly for technical support &
advisory.
Distribution of Diesel Subsidy for life saving irrigation.
Distribution of Seed of Contingent Crops
Eight hour regular electricity supply in rural areas for
irrigation.
Ensured availability of water up to tail end of the canal
for effective irrigation.
