The SAMSON Design Philosophy
SAMSON have developed a unique range of products that offer radical, alternative
solutions to traditional bulk materials handling problems with the added benefit of
complete flexibility in plant design, location and operation.
In a highly competitive bulk materials industry, the SAMSON range of mobile
equipment offers:
· High performance with total reliability
· A compelling alternative to fixed installations
· No need for dedicated civil works
· Excellent return on capital investment

Samson® Feeder History
The Samson® Feeder started life in
the 1960’s as an Agricultural based Reception
Hopper for potatoes, carrots and similar
vegetables.
There were many similar “Hoppers” by
competitors but it was only SAMSON who
in the early 1980’s started development on
an “Industrial Version” to become the
Samson® Feeder.

Surface Installation
GOAL – Samson® Feeder surface
installation eliminates costly, difficult
to maintain underground pits and
hoppers with complete flexibility in
system design and installation. SAMSON Feeder for Cement Industry

Application - Side Tip Samson® Feeder
Where site restrictions will not allow a
conventional Samson® Feeder truck
arrangement for End Tipping, then the
option of Side Tipping as illustrated can
be considered for Free Flowing materials.
SAMSON Feeder for Cement Industry
Application – Discharge to any equipment
The discharge from the feeder
can be to a belt conveyor, Deep
Pan Conveyor, Bucket Elevator,
Crusher etc.
SAMSON Feeder for Cement Industry
Application – Dust Control
For applications
handling dusty
material, or in
particularly sensitive
environments,
SAMSON can provide
dust control for the
Samson® Feeder.
Extended Enclosure

Indian Experience
In India, we started the active marketing of SAMSON
Feeders from the year 2010.
In the past six years, we have supplied more than 50
feeders to many Cement plants, Steel Plants etc.
In many cases, customers have placed repeat orders
based on the satisfactory performance, ease of
maintenance and the savings in operational cost
compared to conventional methods
