The NBRPA played host to 200+ NBA Retired Players during NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, CA from February 17-20, 2011. With a myriad of activities, the NBA Retired Players enjoyed the host city and worked with our partners and sponsors to build brand, create local market awareness and develop business relationships.
All-Star Weekend Event Highlights All-Star Golf Classic – A list Legends James Worthy, Elgin Baylor, Julius Erving, George Gervin,
Moses Malone, Alonzo Mourning , Artis Gilmore and many others took part in this charity golf outing to benefit The Chris Paul Foundation, The Mario Batali Foundation and Legends Care™. The event provided donors with a unique opportunity to interact and play golf with the Legends of the game.
Love & Basketball Gala - The NBRPA and Behind the Bench (NBA Wives Association) hosted an exclusive event for current NBA players, NBRPA members and their spouses as well as select sponsors and guests. This event was an ideal opportunity for sponsors and partners to connect with each group in an intimate setting. The event raised funds for both organizations.

This is the most sought after event of the weekend, it’s strictly invite only. The Legends Brunch provides a great opportunity to reminisce with the greatest figures in sports history. In addition the Legends Brunch is televised live on NBA TV.
Legends World Sports Conference HighlightsThe Legends World Sports Conference (LWSC) was created to assist former players in enhancing their presence as business and community leaders and ambassadors for the game of basketball. The LWSC features a comprehensive three-day conference on topics ranging from Social Media, Coaching Opportunities, Finance and Investments, Health and Wellness as well as a Speakers Bureau forum. The program includes in-depth panel discussions, company presentations, workshop sessions, a sponsor showcase and more. The conference is designed to encourage the Legends themselves to share their experiences with one another and NBRPA sponsors and partners in a private setting.
