QUESTION PAPER
ASSIGNMENT WRITE UP
The NAT 5 ASSINMENT – two pages of data.
The last task was to complete a poster about your study.
Now you must condense this information down to just two A4 pages for the final assignment.
TWO DATA PAGES The two pages of data should be made up of graphs, charts, maps, diagrams, pictures (with annotations) and other processed information.
It should not include any chucks of text. The reason for this is that when it comes to your final written assignment you can’t copy text straight from the two pages of data.
1. Write name at the top.2. You must include the research question. 3. There should be a range of different graphs used so that you can refer to
them in the write-up.4. Any maps, photographs, photocopied material must be annotated to
make it ‘your own’.5. Most, if not all two pages should include a map to show locations or
information relating to the fieldwork.6. Keep your processed data relatively small so that you can include more on
the two pages.7. All graphs, photos, maps, diagrams MUST be labelled i.e. Map 1, Diagram
2 so that you can refer to them in the write-up.8. Avoid too much writing as you cannot copy this in the write-up. Notes or
prompts are better.
