tourNaMeNt ProCedures & rules suPer seNior divisioN rules 1. All bowlers over 60 years of age will be classified as Super Seniors according to their entry blank.

2. Super Seniors will bowl 15 games of qualifying with the regular field.

3. Top 12 Super Seniors who fail to qualify for regular Senior Tournament will bowl three 4-game blocks of match play. In case of ties refer to Rule 16 of Tournament Procedures and Rules.

This is a USBC sanctioned event

1. A bowler must be a USBC member in good standing.

2. Bowler must be at least 50 years of age.

3. A standing allowance of ten (10) minutes practice shall be allowed before the commencement of Tournament play.

4. The Tournament format shall consist of fifteen games — three five-game blocks.

5. The Tournament field will cut to the top 18 and top 12 Super Seniors for match play.

6. Moving to next lanes during qualifying rounds shall be done if the pair of lanes has been vacated.

7. Bowlers are responsible for accuracy of individual scores.

8. Bowler’s signature on her official score sheet is required before leaving lanes.

9. Scoring for match play will be a bonus point system with 30 pins awarded for each game won added to the total pins.

10. All pinfall in qualifying shall be dropped before entering match play.

11. If the alternate must replace a finalist at any time the following will apply:

a. There will be a penalty of 15 pins per game already completed, with a maximum of 60 pins.

b. One shadow ball on each lane shall be allowed for the incoming alternate and the finalist.

12. All bowler’s must wear proper attire (please, no blue jeans).

13. Bowler’s tops must have the bowler’s last name on the back in English and must be legible to the audience.

14. Bowlers must observe all rules of etiquette:

a. Slow bowling must be avoided.

b. Proper consideration must be given others that have a possibility of placing in the prize list.

15. Prize money is on a one-in-five basis with first place being guaranteed at $2,000.

16. Position ties:

a. If two or more bowlers are tied after completion of the qualifying rounds for the final qualifying position, and are on the last squad, the tie will be rolled off immediately.

b. A one game match will constitute a roll-off.

c. If a tie should occur in the position rounds of the finals, the bowler with the higher scratch score will take the higher position.

d. Should a tie occur for first and second place in the finals, a one game match will determine the champion.

17. The Tournament Director shall rule on all disputes.
