NUFPMISSIONThemissionoftheNASPAUndergraduateFellowsProgramistoincreasethenumberofhistoricallydisenfranchisedandunderrepresentedprofessionalsinstudentaffairsand/orhighereducation,includingbutnotlimitedtothoseofracialandethnic-minoritybackground;thosehavingadisability;andthoseidentifyingasLGBTQ.
NUFPPROGRAMComponentsOn-campusMentorship
FellowsandtheirMentorsparticipateinanongoingexchangedesignedtoprovidetheFellowwithachancetodevelopasenseofwhatacareerinstudentaffairsorhighereducationmightbelike.
RegionalandAnnualConferenceProgrammingFellowsareprovidedspecificprogrammingatNASPA'sannualconference,aswellasmanyregionalconferences.Smallamountsoffundsareavailabletohelpdefraythecostofattendance.
SummerInternshipFellowsareofferedtheopportunitytoapplyandparticipateinapaidsummerinternshipinstudentaffairsorhighereducation,ataninstitutionotherthantheirown,asameansofbroadeningtheirexperiencebaseandtheirperspectiveonstudentaffairsandhighereducation.
DungyLeadershipInstituteFellowsareinvitedtoapplytoandattendtheDungyLeadershipInstitute(DLI),afive-dayworkshopfocusedonskillbuildingandcareerdevelopment.
