STANDARDS UPDATE NOTIFICATION SYSTEM (SUNS)NASA UPDATE PROVIDERS
• Update Notifications and Accessibility to Non-Government and Other Government (Non-NASA) Technical Standards Are Provided under Contract to the NASA Technical Standards Program Office.
• However, NASA-, Center-, and Program/Project-Developed Technical Standards Used by the Agency, and Their Update Notifications, Are Not Always Readily Available/Accessible to Users.
• Standards Document Owners within the Agency Are Encouraged to Utilize SUNS to: Add Current Document Information so Action can be Taken to
Automatically Notify Update Requesters When Requests are Made. Provide Update Notifications When Changes Occur so Users of Your
Documents can be Automatically Notified as Requested. In Most Cases, Provide Website Access to the Document by Entering
the URL of the Current Document Location to Link from the NASA Technical Standards Program Website.
