The school is one of the oldest educational institutions in the town,

There are about 1000 students (Russian native

speakers) studying and 70 teachers working in the

school at present.



Our school has been successfully using the

CLIL methodology since 2005 -the Estonian-language-immersion programme.



Starting from the primary school many subjects are taught in the

Estonian language for our students. In the Upper-Secondary level the

majority of subjects (60%) are taught in the national language.


Lessons start at 8 am and finish at about 2-3pm. The

lessons last 45 minutes andthere are 15-minute-breaks
