• First off the phrase Rolling Stone makes me think of a rock genre of music. This is because when I hear stone the first thing that comes to mind is rock as they are similar. Rolling stone is a massive company and isn’t just a magazine, its also a chart and boosts reputation.

• The graphology of the rolling stones logo is the bright red which immediately makes it stand out. Its also 3d as well which makes it even more bold and different.

• It stands for New music express.• This acronym is pretty bold and effective and

is very clever as if you say NME quickly it sounds like enemy. This is quite special as even without reading the magazine readers have an idea of what's inside.

• The black background allows NME to stand out even more especially with the white outline.

• The actual word Kerrang is the sound of a guitar when you play it. Straight away when you read or say Kerrang it automatically puts the connotations of rock music, loud crashes and dark, loud music.

• The graphology of the work Kerrang in this logo is in red and white and the font is quite rigid and rough demonstrating the loud sort of rock connotations that go with the title Kerrang.
