“And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.” Numbers 21:8
“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:14, 15
Compare the Bible verses and the pictures.Jesus told Nicodemus that as (in the same way) the people of Israel looked by
faith to the brazen serpent and lived, so (in the same way) you must look by faith to Him for eternal life. Have you put your faith in Jesus as your Savior?
Junior Visuals, Unit 2, Salvation Poster, Item 11 Summer Quarter, 2020
“This man [Joseph of Arimathea] went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid.” Luke 23:52, 53
“And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” Matthew 28:5, 6
“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” John 3:17
“And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” Revelation 22:17
Jesus died on the cross for you. He was buried in a tomb, but He arose the third day. He is alive today. Is Jesus your Savior? If not, ask your teacher to help you know the way to be saved.
