languages and many more spoken by citizens whose family origin is from other continents.

• The overall objectives are to raise awareness of:– Europe’s rich linguistic diversity– the need to diversify the range of languages people speak – the need for people to develop some degree of proficiency

in two languages or more

LinguaBatStep 1: Give your LinguaBat a name (maybe something from another language that has meaning)

Step 2: Decide what countries your LinguaBat is going to visit. Your Linguabat should travel to 5 European countries so that your bat can learn 5 different languages.

Step 3: Decide your LinguaBat’s favorite words from the languages spoken there. You will need to chose 3 words or phrases for you bat to learn in each of the five languages.
