• Located in Native American communities throughout the United States • Incubators for technology and intellectual property. • Provide a sustainable and lasting resource for improving Tribal
communities. • These centers will be an invaluable resource to the communities they are
located in by providing: – A clearinghouse of educational resources and literature for identifying, creating, developing,
protecting and commercializing intellectual property; – A telephone hotline directly to the United States Patent and Trademark Office for educational
and inventor support; – A forum in which inventors, innovators, businesspeople, and investors can meet to share
information and ideas as well as develop business relationships; – A location for Fab Lab (fabrication laboratory) outreach that will enable inventors to engage
in the production and manufacture of prototypes at minimal cost; and – Access to office supplies and equipment necessary to further the production or protection of
their intellectual property.
