November 12-14, 2019 | Long Beach, CA
Welcome to the 2019 Western Area Conference!
On behalf of the Los Angeles Section, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2019 Western Area Conference here in Long Beach! The Long Beach/Los Angeles area is home to several diverse corrosion communities including the water, wastewater, transportation, gas services, and a large shipping industry.
This year’s conference is an excellent opportunity for NACE members and non-members to share knowledge and experience on the diverse technical subjects presented in our program and to exchange experiences on emerging issues in corrosion. The technical program includes a vast array of exciting presentations following four different tracks and a rectifier tutorial.
We also encourage you to take advantage of the ample time provided to visit our exhibitors, who will be showcasing the latest in corrosion control technology and products. Also, don’t miss our great networking opportunities, including our awards luncheon featuring special guest keynote, Mark Bushyeager of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, who will be speaking on ensuring reliable water infrastructure and current rehabilitation efforts being used.
Once again, thanks for joining us here in Long Beach. I look forward to seeing you all and I know you’ll enjoy the program and all that our great city has to offer!
Sincerely,Marc WegnerConference ChairWestern Area Conference 2019
