The Eltel Industries - Calibration Lab is equipped with
customized world class standards to calibrate
instruments designed for use by transformer
manufacturers and power utilities.
Eltel Industries, being a manufacturer, has a deep
technical understanding of calibration requirements.
The advantage of getting the equipment calibrated at
our Calibration Lab is the assurance that the calibration
charges will be appropriate for the entire range rather
than for specific calibration points. Eltel Industries takes

The laboratory is now open for performing calibration activities with the following unique standards on board. • Precision Current Transformer with accuracy of
0.002% and best CMC of 60 PPM.• CVRPS -2013 to calibrate Instrument Transformer
Test Sets for both Ratio Error and Phase error(Direct method).
• Power analyzer to calibrate Current transformer burdens and Voltage Transformer burden.
• Capacitance & Tan Delta Standard up to 10 kV.• High Resistance Standards (1kΩ to 10 TΩ). • Low Resistance Standards (1mΩ to 1 KΩ). • Fluke 5080 A Calibrator. • Fluke 8846A 6½ Digit Multimeter.

PRECISION CURRENT TRANSFORMER (20 PPM)
The precision Current Transformer along with
7200A High Current source covers ratios from
5A/ 5A : 5A / 1A all the way upto 6000A/ 5A :
6000/1A with best overall uncertainty of 60 PPM
– which is on par with the best calibration
laboratories. The ratio range provided covers
all typically manufactured standard and
commercial grade Current Transformers.
The CVRPS generates fixed Ratio and Phase
Errors that enable the calibration of Instrument
Current Transformer Test Sets and Instrument
Voltage Transformer Test Sets using Direct
Method. This unique standard allows the
calibration of test equipments at different
ranges of Ratio and Phase Errors. This facility is
unique to the Eltel Industries – Calibration
Laboratory and to the best of our knowledge,
is not currently available in any other NABL
accredited labs. The best uncertainty of
80 ppm, 0.4 min is class leading and best
available in the Industry.
This is a high accuracy comparator
manufactured by Eltel Industries. This is used to
calibrate Current Transformers and Voltage
Transformers for Ratio Error & Phase Error. It has a
best uncertainty of 55 PPM.

HIGH RESISTANCE STANDARD
CAPACITANCE & TAN DELTA STANDARD SET UP

This standard set up comprises of a SF6 filled
Standard Capacitor, a Step down Voltage
Transformer (11kV/ 110 V) & Dissipation Factor
Error Standard. The Standard is capable of
introducing Tan Delta from 0% to 10%. Using this
standard set up, the Capacitance & Tan Delta
Test Sets can be calibrated up to 10 kV. The best
uncertainty 0.3% for Capacitance & 0.02% for
Tan Delta.
This is a Precision Turns Ratio Standard
developed by Eltel Industries for their Calibration
Laboratory. It has a Ratio Range from 1/1 to
5,000/1. Used for calibration of manual and
Automatic Single and Three phase Transformer
Ratio Meters. The accuracy is better than 0.01%
over the entire range.
This High Resistance Standard is manufactured
by an Industry pioneer and offers resistance
ranges from 1KΩ to 10 TΩ. It is used to calibrate
High Resistance Insulation Test Sets, Tan Delta
and Resistivity Test Sets.

DIGITAL POWER ANALYZER - WT210
This set of Precision Low and Medium Resistance
Standards is from a leading Resistance
manufacturer of discrete standards. We have a
best uncertainty of 0.02% ranging from 1milliΩ
to 1kΩ. They are used to calibrate low resistance
Ohm Meters, Transformers Winding Resistance
Meters.
The Power analyzer with a best uncertainty
of 0.37% is used for calibrating Current
Transformer Burdens and Voltage
Transformer Burdens.
This is a Fluke Universal 5½ digit Calibrator
and has the highest compliance with
maximum burden up to 800 milli amps for
AC and DC voltages and a voltage up to
50V for AC and DC currents. This unit is used
to calibrate Multimeters and also used as a
AC Current and Voltage source.
This Fluke Standard Meter is capable of
calibrating any 5½ digit calibrators. It is also
used to calibrate any AC, DC current and
Voltage Sources and Resistances.
