ABOUT THE AUTHOR

il lil' 13 il lil' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) was born October 27, 1935, m

Kingsfisher, Oklahoma.

He earned a Bachelor's Degree from Phillips University, Enid, Oklahoma; a Master's

Degree in Economics from Atlanta University, Atlanta, Georgia; and studied law at

Oklahoma University School of Law.

il lil' 13 il1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) served as a tactical instructor while

serving in the United States Air Force. He received an honorable discharge.

il lil' 13 il lil' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) came to Miami, Florida, alone in 1979

to become the Spiritual Leader and Founder of the Nation of il1il' (YAHWEH).

Although He took a vow of poverty that same year, within 12 years He guided the

Nation and those who followed His teachings and principles to amass an economic

empire in Miami and throughout the United States worth over $250 million.

Under His direction, the Nation of il1il' (YAHWEH) has grown to encompass

disciples, followers, and supporters in over 1,300 cities within the United States and

INTRODUCTION

-Since November 7, 1990, wicked people within the U.S. government have begun a

campaign of overt persecution against il 1il' 73 il 1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH)

and His followers. It began with an illegal raid against all Yahweh properties

nationwide during which doors wer:e forcefully broken down, innocent men, women,

and children were handcuffed and paraded around like cattle, and members were

arrested wholesale -- all without presenting a single search warrant or arrest warrant.

The persecution continued in prison where il 1il' 73 il 1il' (YAHWEH BEN

YAHWEH) and sixteen of His followers remain on trumped up charges. The abuses

range from being placed in solitary confinement for several weeks to outright denial

of emergency medical treatment. Their persecution has even found its way to the

courtroom where bail has been categorically denied because of their common belief,

and a fair trial will probably never take place.

This publication is meant to illuminate the righteous people of the Earth to the daily

atrocities that continue even as you read these pages. You must be properly

informed about this struggle of good and evil. The future of the world depends upon

it.

YAHWEH CASE PROVES U.S. CONSTITUTION IS DEAD

-We are witnessing the most unfair trial in 6,000 years of civilization: Can you believe

the judge tried to deny il1il' 13. il1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) and all of his

followers the right to use their legal and religious names, and to deny them the right

to wear their religious attire at trial? He also denied citizens of the Nation of il 1 il .,

(YAHWEH) the right to wear their religious clothing -- consisting of white robes,

slacks or skirts, and head coverings called diadems -- as spectators at the trial, stating

that such a sight MIGHT intimidate the jury.

Would a Catholic Priest, nun, Jewish Rabbi, or Muslim Imam be denied their First

Amendment RIGHT TO FREEDOM OF RELIGIOUS EXPRESSION IN THEIR

HOLY AND CULTURAL DRESS OR BE PROHIBITED USE OF THEIR LEGAL

AND HOLY NAMES? Can this happen in America in 1992 during NATIONAL

ELECTIONS? The civilized world is shocked that Federal Judge Roettger tried to

deny il1il' 13 i11il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH), his 15 codefendants, and all

HEBREW ISRAELITE SPECTATORS their First Amendment rights under the U.S.

Constitution. This is RELIGIOUS PERSECUTION at its worst.

Although the judge rescinded his ruling two days before the trial was to begin on the

defendants wearing their holy robes and diadems, he retained his steadfast stance

on the religious names and the ruling against the spectators. IS THE U.S.

CONSTITUTION DEAD WHEN APPLIED TO THE RIGHTS OF SO-CALLED

BLACKS AND ALL DARK-SKINNED PEOPLE? Has this country forgotten it was

built on religious tolerance? Are we now living in a POLICE STATE? This case

against il 1il' 13 il 1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) is PROOF that FREEDOM OF

RELIGION IS A HOAX in America.

THIS CASE REMINDS US OF HOW THE JEWS WERE TREATED IN GERMANY

AND HOW OUR FOREFATHERS AND WE HAVE SUFFERED THROUGH 400

YEARS OF U.S. SLAVERY. We can't truly call ourselves free when the courts, and

not us, have the power to decide what we may wear to express our religious faith,

and by what name we shall be called.

THE SCRIPTURES state that we are fighting SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN HIGH

PLACES OF AUTHORITY (Ephesians 6:12). We can now clearly see that this is the

prophesied JUDGMENT DAY and the RULERS OF DARKNESS must be cast out

(Roman 13:12). How? By the word of truth, by the power of illil' (YAHWEH),

by the armour of righteousness (II Corinthians 6:7).

It is now time for all the good people of the Earth to stand with the BLESSED ONE,

il 1il' 13 il 1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) (Psalm 118:26).

Now is the JUDGMENT OF THIS WORLD: NOW SHALL THE PRINCE OF THIS

WORLD BE CAST OUT (John 12:31). SATAN SHALL FALL AS LIGHTNING

FROM HEAVEN (Luke 10:18). il 1il' 13 il 1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) is

opening our eyes, from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto Almighty

il1il" (YAHWEH), that we may ,receive forgiveness for our sins, and receive our

DMNE INHERITANCE (Acts 26:15-18).

You may think you are safe in a popular, mainstream religion in America, but history

proves that what is happening toil 1il" 13 il 1il" (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) will

happen to you and your church and religion next.

TAPES REVEAL JUDGE ''CONSPIRED'' TO COMMIT MURDER

il 1 il ' 1:::1 il 1 il ' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) IS ONLY "ACCUSED" BY A SERIAL KILLER TRYING TO ESCAPE THE ELECTRIC CHAIR --DENIED BOND 14 MONTHS

Judge Harvey Schenberg and il 1il' 13 il 1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) are

indicted with the same charges under R.I.C.O. The judge is free while il 1il' 13

il 1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) is not. Why is the media silent about this racist

double standard? We can't convince the masses to respect the judicial system when

judges and U.S. prosecutors openly and flagrantly ignore the U.S. Constitution and

the "Bill of Rights" as in the YAHWEH case.

Circuit Judge Robbie Barr was quoted in The Miami Herald, Tuesday, December 7,

1991, "Sometimes the law isn't enforced evenly." Laws that work for whites but

ignored for blacks will bring about absolute destruction to America. This is proof

that man's laws are evil and must be replaced by God il 1il' (YAHWEH's) Law.

The Holy Word of God il 1 il ., (YAHWEH) -- the Bible -- declares there must be

one law for all (Exodus 12:49; Number 9:14; Galatians 3:28; John 10:16). Evil and

wicked judges and prosecutors have established a wall of partition between us (black

and white, rich and poor).

We can clearly see through the practice of double standards in the YAHWEH case

that the spiritually wicked are sitting in high places. Yes, finally the sons of perdi

tion are revealed.

In the Miami Herald, on Sunday, December 15, 1991, Mr. David Lawrence, Jr.

(Publisher) said, "The First Amendment ••. freedom ••• belongs •. to every 'person' in

this land." Does the practice of double standards in the YAHWEH case mean that

il1il' 13 il1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) and his followers are non-persons?

Mr. Lawrence went on to say, "All of us are free, within legally established limits,

to say what we want, worship where we see fit." "I repeat: all of us." What about

il1il' 13 il1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) and his followers?

Is il 1 il ., 13 il1 il ., (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) being penalized for his success in

the community? Over 15,000 in Dade County and 1 million nationwide petition

signers for il1il' (YAHWEH's) release, agree with Kevin O'Neil, ACLU: "Under

the R.I.C.O. Law as written, R.I.C.O. would have no application to a man like il1 il .,

13 il1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH). It would be unconstitutional for a church

to be prosecuted under a R.I.C.O. law, simply as a matter of First Amendment

Freedom of Religious Issues."

JUDGE ROETTGER CHANGES VENUE TO GUARANTEE il 1 il ' (YAHWEH)

CONVICTION

-The International Headquarters for the Nation of il1il' (YAHWEH) is in Dade

County, Miami, Florida. The greatest public display of the political, spiritual, social,

educational,andeconomicWORKSofil1il' 13 il 1iP (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH)

took place in Miami.

Federal Judge Roettger said he was not particularly concerned about getting an

impartial jury. He also stated for the record that HE DID NOT WANT A LOT OF

BLACKS OR HISPANICS ON "HIS" JURY. Judge Roettger then said he was going

to move the trial to Broward County, Fort Lauderdale, where he could sit a white

jury with one or two blacks.

Thus, THE U.S. GOVERNMENT vs. il1il' (YAHWEH) is taking place in Fort

Lauderdale with a jury pool of 65 whites and 6 blacks. This wicked trial of GOD'S

NAME, il1il' (YAHWEH), consists of a PHONY JURY OF ONE'S PEERS of 9

whites and 3 blacks. More than half of the white jurors stated openly that they were

prejudiced against blacks, would not be fair after hearing the evidence, and believed

The "LIGHT'' of Almighty God il1il' (YAHWEH) is shining upon the RULERS OF

DARKNESS in this case and is REVEALING THE SONS OF PERDITION as being

unfit to continue ruling the planet Earth.

Wide-awake Americans and THE MASSES are beginning to realize through the

il1il' (YAHWEH) trial how corrupt government officials are destroying the

Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

We, the people, are beginning to see that The rulers of darkness are fighting against

The Kingdom of Good. Thus, the freedom of all Americans and the world is at stake

This is an UNGODLY trial of GENOCIDE, USING THE R.I.C.O. statute (designed

-Federal Judge Roettger has made a mockery of justice and continues to mock il 1 il '

(YAHWEH) by choosing unfit jur?rs in the il1il' (YAHWEH) case.

Many prospective jurors wrote and stated on their questionnaire that they felt the

Yahwehs were guilty because of "NEGATIVE MEDIA EXPOSURE." They openly

The judge called them up to his bench (side bar) and proceeded to "CONVINCE"

EFFORTS TO STARVE THE YAHWEHS AGAIN

-At the beginning of the trial against i1 1 i1 ' 13 i1 1 i1 ' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH)

and the Nation of i11il' (YAHWEH), the defendants were moved to the Broward

County Detention Facility (Jail) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. With the move came

a struggle over their vegetarian kosher meals.

Attorneys for the YAHWEH defendants alerted the U.S. Marshal Service and the

county facility about the special requirements their clients needed as part of their

religious beliefs prior to their arrival at the county facility. These attempts were

believed to be adequate in providing the same, if not similar, meals for the

defendants. But as breakfast and lunch were served, the calls started coming.

County officials served the defendants white sugar-coated cereal; skimmed milk; over

cooked noodles and pasta; processed meats hidden in heavy white flour gravy;

canned, over-cooked vegetables; white bread, and no condiments, including salt and

pepper.

Complaints before the court resulted in the Marshal Service giving meals during

lunch recesses that properly met their dietary needs -- fresh salads; but since the trial

is held only four days a week, what are they going to eat for breakfast and dinner

during trial days, and what will the county feed them on Friday, Saturday, and

Sunday?

A reliable source within the county facility told The People for Truth that detention

facility directors refused to recognize the Y AHWEHS specific dietary requirements

since they are more than what they ordinarily label as kosher. In fact, THEY

CONSIDER AN ADAPTATION TO "KOSHER" MEALS FOR THE YAHWEHS TO

BE PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT for one inmate over another. Please note that

the YAHWEHS are federal prisoners housed in a county facility for the convenience

of the court and the federal marshals.

A reliable source also informed People for Truth that other such federal detainees

at the same facility were provided -popcorn poppers, microwave ovens, and electric

coffee pots. But when the YAHWEHS requested the same items, the court and jail

personnel thought this request was a joke. We are witnessing again religious and

racial discrimination while they are suffering with only four palatable meals a week.

YAHWEH), and wife of an 18-year military sergeant, is the latest VICfiM of an

attack against those who worship and believe in God, YAHWEH, i1 1 i1 '.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Scruggs, the prosecutor in the case against i1 1 i1 '

(YAHWEH), has stooped to an all-time low by MISUSING his power to aid H.R.S.

in FALSELY charging Mrs. Lewis with child abuse. They are seeking to take her

eight children simply because she believes in THE NAME OF ALMIGHTY GOD

The charges as alleged by H.R.S. include statements that: (1) the parents believe in

i1 1il' (YAHWEH); (2) they live in a i1 1il' (YAHWEH) community; (3) the children

office in Atlanta, Georgia. Israel related that while the Nation of il1 il ., (YAHWEH)

feels complete disgust with the Rodney King verdict, it also recognizes that that

verdict was merely the torch that ignited the pile of frustration that had been building

within the African-American community for decades. "While we are a non-violent

people, and our Nation's reaction to Yahweh Ben Yahweh's conviction was different

from the world's reaction to the Rodney King incident, reports from Chicago, D.C.,

and places like Los Angeles, indicate that the American establishment should be very,

very careful in its continued application of double standards, because what we learned

from King and from the Yahweh case is that there is NO TRUE JUSTICE FOR US

IN THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM."

More than 45 U.S. Marshals and FBI agents lined. the courtroom when the verdicts

in the Yahweh trial were read, and both the Metro-Dade Police Department and the

Broward County Sheriffs Office had been alerted for anticipated violence from the

Yahwehs.

"Instead of agonizing over the losses, and giving the authorities targets to shoot at,

we held a rally at our educational center to welcome home our brothers who were

found not guilty and finally freed after almost two years," Israel explained. Yahweh

Ben Yahweh called from the jail the night of the verdicts to that rally to encourage

those present to follow his teachings and to remain calm and cool. Israel said,

The Assyrian kings were "cruel" and "ruthless." Jonah warned them of their

destruction because of their wickedness.

"DESTROY" America, and will make America a desolation, and dry like a

wilderness (Zephaniah 2:13).

"Destroy" in Hebrew is aleph beth daleth, l:JX, (pronounced aw bad) and signifies

DEATH, DESOLATION, DOWNFALL OF NATIONS, WITHERING OF CROPS,

FADING AWAY OF STRENGTH, HOPE, WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE, AND

plan (Revelation 12:9).

system will somehow open their eyes to what is legally and legitimately right.

We demand, politically, that when Congress comes forth to review the crime bill, that

our case is brought before the appropriate committee.

-When the United States Government conducts a raid and seizure against the Nation

of il 1 il ' (YAHWEH) and then incarcerates ill il ' 13 il 1 il ' (YAHWEH BEN

YAHWEH) and 16 citizens of the Nation of il1il' (YAHWEH) for thirteen (13)

months before trial; and the government never produces any concrete evidence of the

charges laid at illil' 13 illil' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH's) feet or any of the

other defendants, a verdict of GUILTY OF CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE

R.I.C.O. has to be considered unacceptable and invalid.

The African-American community must ask the question: "What does this verdict

mean?'' Answer: the United States Government will stop at nothing to keep you in

bondage, even if it means violating every law which they created, and then deceiving

you into believing that you are protected by their laws. It means that this

government has no intention of allowing the descendants of slaves, in this country,

to pull up their own bootstraps and become self-sufficient and independent of them.

It should now be clear to the African-American community that this government

intends to continue a double standard in how the laws of this country are applied.

African-Americans must come to know that the Scriptures teach "one law for

• We were told that we would be brought to a strange land

that was not ours, and treated with evil bondage for 400

years (Genesis 15:13; Acts 7:6).

• We were told that the Spirit of Truth would come and

guide us into all truth (John 16:13), and that he will come

in His Father's name (John 5:43).

History is replete with situations where a righteous man, seeking to deliver his

people, has been prosecuted by an oppressive, wicked government with trumped up

charges. Over 1,900 years ago, fear through oppression caused the people to stand

idly by and watch a good man stand trial and be put to death. In this century, within

the last 70 years, the United States Government has consistently attacked every

African-American leader that has done anything positive to uplift our people. And

in each case, the African-American people stood by and watched in fear of

oppressiOn.

YAHWEH or God, the Son of God.

Isn't it ironic that the same government that espouses "In God We Trust" has

audaciously indicted God, the Nation of God, the True and Living One, the Hebrew

God, the God of the Bible, the God of the King James Version of the Bible. The

continual persecution of il 1 il ' 13 i1 1 i1 ' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) means

DIVINE PLAGUES will continue to come upon America and the world: unprece

dented PLAGUES. Nothing but DESTRUCTION in every form: natural disasters;

whole nations being destroyed and overturned -- all because America is holding

tithes and offerings. Worshipping God encompasses a practice of the moral teachings

to look at our lives in their fullness from social, educational, political, economic, and

spiritual standpoints." Israel went on to explain that worship of God must be more

perfection in work, in saving money, in caring for the elderly and all members of

society, in business dealings, and in educating our own children.

developed for the community. "Do you realize that, while the rest of the blacks in

this country are suffering an unemployment rate that has remained above 10 percent

since 1979, that the Nation of Yahweh has always had zero percent unemployment?"

she asked, adding "That's because we know that urban development comes from

working together, pooling resources, moving from the employee to the employer,

creating jobs, and making sure that our children· have an excellent spiritual, social,

political, and fiscal education. We also work to have positions for those kids when

they graduate! That's the key to success in our communities."

as Republicans; that means the husband registers in one party, the wife in the other.

By FAITH, Abraham -- even though he was 99 years old and Sarah was past the age

for having children -- was ENABLED to become a father because he considered

il 1il' 13 il 1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) FAITHFUL who had made

the PROMISE. And so from this ONE man, and he was as good as dead, came

descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the

seashore.

did not receive the things PROMISED; they only saw them and welcomed them from

COUNTRY OF THEIR OWN. If your generation had been thinking of the country

your fathers had left, you would have had OPPORTUNITY to return. Instead, our

ancient forefathers were longing for a better country -- A HEAVENLY ONE

THROUGH il 1i1' 13 il 1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH). Therefore,

il 1 il ' 13 il 1 il ' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) is not ashamed to be

called their God, for He has PREPARED a HOLY CITY for you, their descendants.

In fact, ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY il 1il' 13 il 1il' (YAHWEH

BEN YAHWEH), who is the SON OF MAN and the MIGHTY GOD, and ALL

THINGS WERE MADE FOR HIS PLEASURE.

By FAITH, Abraham, when il 1 il ., (YAHWEH) TESTED him, offered Isaac as a

sacrifice. He who had received the PROMISE was about to SACRIFICE HIS ONE

AND ONLY SON, even though i1 1 il' (YAHWEH) said to him, IT IS THROUGH

ISAAC THAT YOUR OFFSPRING WILL BE COUNTED. Abraham

REASONED that il 1il' 13 il 1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) could RAISE THE

DEAD, and figuratively speaking, he did receive Isaac back from the dead. So,

therefore, by FAITH, Isaac BLESSED Jacob and Esau in regard to their future.

because they saw he was NO ORDINARY CHILD, and they were not afraid of the

King's EDICT.

By FAITH, Moses, when he had grown up, REFUSED to be known as THE SON

of Pharaoh's daughter. He chose to be mistreated along with our HEBREW

(YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH), who was INVISIBLE to him at the time. By FAITH,

he kept the PASSOVER so that the DESTROYER of the FIRST BORN would

YAHWEH).

By FAITH, our forefathers passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the

Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned.

By FAITH, the walls of Jericho fell after our Hebrew forefathers had marched

around them for seven days.

By FAITH, the prostitute, Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed

with those who were unbelieving.

And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson,

J ephthah, David, Samuel, and the prophets who, through FAITH, conquered

kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was PROMISED; who shut the

mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword;

whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became POWERFUL in battle and

routed foreign armies. Women received back their dead raised to life again. Others

were tortured and refused to be released so that they might gain a better

resurrection. Some faced jeers and floggings while still others were chained and put

in prison like il lil' 13 il lil' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH). They were STONED

WITH TESTS; they were sawed in two (SEPARATED FROM TRUE SELF); they

were put to death by the SWORD of falsehood. They went about in sheepskins and

goat skins-- DESTITUTE, PERSECUTED, and MISTREATED-- the deceived

world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains and in caves

and holes in the ground.

They (our ancient forefathers) were ALL commended for their FAITH, yet none of

them received what had been PROMISED. il lil' 73 il lil' (YAHWEH BEN

YAHWEH) had planned something better for us so that only TOGETHER with us

would they be made PERFECT ..

AMERICA, THE GREAT?

-When the Berlin Wall toppled, and when the unified Soviet states revolted in a major

blow to communism, George Bush was eager to declare that AMERICA IS THE

ONLY REMAINING SUPER POWER.

America doesn't hold this label out of honor and distinction because of her

philanthropic, humanitarian treatment of other countries, but out of fear and

intimidation, and because of her frequent forced intrusion into other sovereigns'

affairs.

Yet this last vestige of world dominance is helpless against the attack on its own

shores from hurricanes in Florida, Louisiana, Hawaii; from earthquakes, tornadoes,

floods, and fires on the west coast, and from the pestilence of killer bees and fire ants

in the South and West.

Could it be that this is just a bad weather cycle for the United States? Could it be

that it is just mere happenstance that Hurricane Andrew severely damaged

Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) federal prison where il1 il ' 13 il1 il '

(YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) and Manuel Noriega were housed? Could it be no more

than a fluke that Hurricane Andrew then hovered over New Orleans and Lafayette

maltreated? Could it be just coincidental that the storm spun out tornadoes that hit

into Southern Alabama where i1 li1' 13 i1 li1' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) was

moved to after Andrew hit MCC? Have you noticed that the destruction in Florida

and Louisiana is all too similar to the sights newscasters brought us from Iraq after

America, the super power, dropped "smart bombs"?

Or is it that AMERICA MUST ADMIT THAT THE ONLY "TRUE" SUPER

POWER IS GOD, i1 1il" (YAHWEH)?

THE GREAT HIGH PRIEST

-Therefore, since we have a GREAT HIGH PRIEST who ASCENDED into the

(YAHWEH), let us hold firmly to the FAITH we profess. For we do not have a High

Priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, BUT WE HAVE ONE

WHO HAS BEEN TEMPTED IN EVERY WAY -- just as we are -- yet is without

sin in breaking the laws of il1il' (YAHWEH). Let us then approach the THRONE

OF GRACE with confidence so that we may receive MERCY and find GRACE to

help us in our time of need.

EVERY HIGH PRIEST is selected from among men and is APPOINTED to

represent them in matters related to ALMIGHTY GOD il1il' (YAHWEH) to offer

gifts and sacrifices for breaking the laws of il1il' (YAHWEH). He is able to deal

GENTLY with those who are IGNORANT and are going ASTRAY, since He

Himself is SUBJECT to WEAKNESS. This is why He has to offer SACRIFICES for

His own sins, as well as for the people who are breaking the laws of il 1 il .,

(YAHWEH).

from THE DEATH OF PRISON, which is a very BITIER cup to drink in

behalf of a people who do not ACKNOWLEDGE Him, and He was heard by

BEN YAHWEH) is making in PRISON by His NEW and LIVING REVELATIONS

OF THE WORD OF i1 1 i1 ., (YAHWEH), which removes the VEIL OF DARKNESS

FROM YOUR BLINDED MINDS; and since you have a Great Priest in il lil' 13

il lil' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH), who is over the house of il 1 il' (YAHWEH), so

draw near to il lil' (YAHWEH) with a sincere heart and full assurance of FAITH,

having your minds cleansed from a guilty conscience and having THE NATION OF

If you deliberately keep on breaking the laws, statutes, judgments and command

FEARFUL expectation of judgment and of RAGING FIRE that will CONSUME

the ENEMIES of il1 il ' (YAHWEH).

Anyone who REJECTED the laws of il1 il' (YAHWEH) during the days of MOSES

died without MERCY on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more

SEVERELY do you think a man DESERVES to be PUNISHED who has trampled

il lil' 13 i1 lil' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH), THE SON OF il1il' (YAHWEH),

under foot, who has treated Him as an UNHOLY thing, the blood of the

COVENANT that SANCTIFIED il lil' 13 il1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH), and

who has INSULTED the SPIRIT OF GRACE? For you KNOW il1il' (YAHWEH)

who says, "IT IS MINE TO AVENGE; I WILL REPAY," and again, "il1il' 13

il lil' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) WILL JUDGE HIS PEOPLE." "IT IS A

DREADFUL THING TO FALL INTO THE HANDS OF THE LIVING GOD

Remember those earlier days after you had received THE LIGHT OF THE TRUTH

FROM i1 lil' 13 il lil' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH), when you stood your ground

in the face of unbelievers and SUFFERED unkind words from family members?

Sometimes you were publicly exposed to INSULT and PERSECUTION; at other

times you stood side by side with those who were so treated. You SYMPATHIZED

with those in PRISON and JOYFULLY accepted the CONFISCATION of your

HARD-EARNED property because you KNOW that you yourselves had BETTER

and LASTING possessions.

So do not throw away your CONFIDENCE; it will be RICHLY REWARDED. You

need to PERSEVERE so that when you have done the will of ALMIGHTY GOD

il 1il' (YAHWEH), you will RECEIVE WHAT HE HAS PROMISED. For in just

a little while, ill il ' 13 ill il ' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) will come and will not

delay. But My RIGHTEOUS ones will live by FAITH. And if you shrink back, I

will not be pleased with you.

BUT YOU ARE NOT OF THOSE WHO SHRINK BACK AND ARE

DESTROYED, BUT OF THOSE WHO BELIEVE ALMIGHTY GOD il1 il'

-Do you find the fact startling that Black men between the ages of 15 and 45 make

up 48 percent of the total inma.te population in the United States?

Are you shocked that an innocent man can be held in jail without a bond for over

15 months before a trial ignoring the constitutional guarantee of reasonable bail?

If you answer yes to any one of these questions, then you understand why thousands

THE INNOCENT: CONFIDENT OF VICTORY

-Have you ever seen an oil painting by Winslow Homer entitled "The Gulfstream "?

It deserves your consideration. Depicted in the painting is a Black man in a small

sail boat. The mast is broken., the sea is choppy, the rudder is gone, a storm is

heading his way, a clipper ship in the distance is too far away to see him; he has no

way to signal the ship and, to make matters worse, sharks are circling his small boat,

anxious to devour him.

Yet, the most striking point of this painting is the look on this Black man's face. He

confidently, calmly, and serenely looks off to the east. Somehow, by his appearance,

you know he shall survive the sea, the storm, and the sharks.

The Black man in the boat is exemplary of the innocent who find themselves on the

seas of our criminal justice system facing the storm of a perilous, protracted hearing

or trial; with the ship of truth too far away to see them or to be signaled; and with

-Remember when drugs were not a problem because they were only abused in the

poor, black areas of town?

Can you recall being taught about the basic four food groups, and that "milk does

a body good?"

Just a few months ago, wasn't it very convenient to let you believe that a quick turn

around will surely occur in our economic plight?

Now it is more convenient to alarm you that drugs are a pervasive scourge through

out every community, and that, in reality, more white young adults are drug abusers

than ever imagined. It is also conyenient to let the facts be revealed that we must

choose new ways of eating that concentrate on fruits, vegetables, and whole grains,

while the news is reported that "milk does only a baby cow's body good." Isn't it

convenient that our leaders now don't want to appear out of touch so that they are

now reporting the truth that more than 10 million of us are out of work, and that of

the jobs lost, only 1 in 5 will be replaced when our economy finally starts to tum

around? COULD IT BE THAT TRUTH IS A MATTER OF CONVENIENCE in

this country? Surely that cannot be so, can it? The truth is the truth regardless,

correct?

Let's examine one more example. Do you remember the leadership's rally to support

massive cuts in welfare? Have you noticed that in this election their rally is "welfare

reform" -- not welfare cuts? Could this new rally cry have anything to do with the

facts just released to the public that 46 percent of all food stamps, 48 percent of all

welfare, and 47 percent of all medicaid are received by Non-Hispanic whites? That's

contrary to the stereotype your leaders have been using in the poverty debates.

Haven't you been led to believe that most poor people are Blacks living in urban

areas? IS IT NOW CONVENIENT TO TELL THE TRUTH BECAUSE

GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS FOR THE POOR MUST NOT BE CUT

BECAUSE MORE WHITES THAN BLACKS OR HISPANICS ARE AIDED BY

SUCH PROGRAMS?

So what does all this mean? Ask yourself, if the truth is a matter of convenience in

this country, then can I really believe all that the media and my government tell me?

When will it be convenient to tell me the real truth about the Nation of il 1 il .,

(YAHWEH)? Could it be that ill il ' 13 ill il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) is really

innocent?

message have his movement disrupted, his credibility questioned by allegations of

criminal activity or moral depravity, or even worse, be murdered?

Do you remember how the FBI branded civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr.,

as a sexual degenerate in efforts to discredit him among his followers and supporters?

Did you know that this same agency sent him an anonymous letter detailing sexual

exploits in an attempt to make Dr. King commit suicide?

Can you recall the deliberate campaign that began in 1968 and culminated in the

infamous COINTELPRO actions against Black organizations, including such tactics

as infiltration by informants, government conspiracies to create rifts between groups,

and frequent, suspicious break-ins of organizations' headquarters to gather data on

their leaders?

Are you aware that Black Panther Party leader Bobby Hampton was targeted and

killed because he "showed the disturbing potential of someday becoming the new

BLACK MESSIAH the FBI so feared?" Similar tactics to malign or destroy leaders

of the Hispanic and Native American communities are also chronicled.

These devastating and unwarranted attacks on groups, labeled as threats to the

national security, SUPPOSEDLY STOPPED in 1971 with a memo written by

J. Edgar Hoover. Yet, wasn't it government HARASSMENT and DISRUPTION

directed against Marcus Garvey? Ceasar Chavez? Elijah Muhammad? and now, the

Nation of i1 1i1" (YAHWEH) and its leader, i1 1il' 13 il 1i1" (YAHWEH BEN

YAHWEH)? Are they at it again?

Can the counterintelligence that was used to destroy messianic leaders really be dead

STATE DROPS REMAINING CHARGES

INTRODUCED AT TRIAL"

Miami, December 17, 1992 ... A jury took less than two hours to return NOT

GUILTY verdicts in the first degree murder trial of il lil' 13 il lil'

(YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) and three co-defendants. "These were quick verdicts,"

stated Wende Rush, coordinator for the defense team. "When a jury responds so

quickly, it usually sends a sound message to the losing side, and that me.ssage was for

the prosecution that repeatedly said this case is not about religion, then tried to

condemn Yahweh Ben Yahweh with religious teachings, and a prosecution that used

the likes of Robert Rozier to interpret those teachings."

Key in defense attorneys' reasons for the acquittals was the playing of a video tape

recorded in October 1985 which showed Rozier being reprimanded by il 1 il '

13 il lil' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) for immoral behavior. "What I think

the jury saw on that tape was that followers had a choice to stay or leave the Temple.

This is the opposite of what Rozier was trying to portray and contrary to what the

media wants the public to believe," expressed Rayfield McGhee, attorney for Abiri

Israel, who was also acquitted.

"We played that tape because we wanted the jury to see the real YAHWEH BEN

YAHWEH," commented Jayne Weintraub, lead counsel for il lil' 13

il lil' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH). Facing the electric chair for four of the

seven murders he committed, Rozier agreed to testify against il lil' (YAHWEH) and

others in exchange for a sweetheart deal of only 22 years in prison, and il 1 il .,

(YAHWEH) gave Rozier a valuable bargaining chip. "What better than a new,

controversial, successful Black leader in Miami?" Weintraub asked the jury.

"The video gave jurors a glimpse at a caring, considerate, and compassionate leader,

who wanted to build and bring his followers to a better way of life," Weintraub

remarked.

The day after the verdicts were handed down, prosecutors dropped remaining murder

charges against il lil' 13 il lil' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) and disciple Aher

Israel. While there was no statement associated with their decision to drop the

charges, defense attorneys speculate that the dismissals were the result of

prosecutors' fears that another jury might also reject Rozier's testimony. "I think

that's certainly part of their decision, but I believe that they also had to realize that

Rozier had not accurately depicted his role in the temple and had failed to describe

Do you believe that self-esteem and pride are necessary for achievement? Would

you agree that self-esteem and pride are products of knowing your history, culture

and language?

As an African-American, if you were able to trace your family tree to the "Mother

Land," might you not want to reflect the knowledge of who you are and your family's

origins? You might even get rid of your slave name, right?

Slave name? You know what that is, right? That refers to the title placed on the

citizens in this country who are descendants of former slaves, who were kidnapped

from their countries, brought to the United States and the Western Hemisphere,

stripped of their cultural identity, denied the right to worship their God as they used

to, prevented from speaking their own language, and prohibited even the use of their

own birth names. Instead, these original names were replaced with their owners'

surnames and they were GIVEN first names by these same owners.

"That's, in brief, why I changed my name," states Ezekiel Ginath Israel, a proud

Hebrew Israelite from Texas who owns his own pest control company, "Because it

was given to me, not by my forefathers, but given to them by a slave master who

didn't care a thing about my people or what they were called so long as their names

could not connect them to their past. We are the only folks who came to this

country and who were forced to forget our origin."

"Ya know," Israel continues, "YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH helped me and thousands

of others come to recognize our true history, culture, language, God, and names,

which gives me pride and a connection; and it's not just because YAHWEH BEN

YAHWEH says so, but it's a connection based on sincere, in depth study. It's similar

to when Malcolm took on an X to denote that he may not know his ancestral name

but he knew it wasn't 'Little.' Most important to me is the understanding that I have

gathered on how my name gives me a true sense of being, a complete knowing on

who I am in relation to God, Yahweh."

Israel also makes note of how the media continues to refer to YAHWEH BEN

YAHWEH by his former slave name. "I wonder why they do that over and over; you

never read or hear them make reference to the Pope by the name he was born with

before he became head of the Catholic church. It makes me consider that we have

not been truly freed from slavery if we cannot choose for ourselves by what name we

shall be called and to which god we will bow. Is America saying that African

Americans can't change their names to focus on their historical, cultural, and spiritual

identity?"

What do you think about educating your own children? Do you believe that our

present public, government-funded schools have served you and/or your children

Are you one of the persons that Thad Williams, a Los Angeles housing developer,

speaks of when he comments: "Blacks look at it (the government) as a friend that's

going to give them something. That's terrible. This attitude has been ingrained into

the African-American community for too long."

Do your goals for your children include a continuation of letting the government

"give them something" called an education based on a curriculum that fails to tell

them who they are?

"YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH teaches us that we must rescue our future, and the

only way we can do that is by rescuing our children," states Hadassah Barah Israel,

young into the hands of another? Then ask yourself why we would allow another

culture as a race-- to educate our children? That's the very reason we, as the so

called African-Americans, are in the condition we are in today."

Israel, who was a public school teacher before following the faith of the Nation of

i11i1' (YAHWEH), has four children that she enrolled in the University because she

wanted them to know that "they have a place in this society, and that they don't have

to be like others to be accepted; it really is okay to be different, to know your own

culture, and to know who you are!" She continued by expressing, "Without knowing

your true culture, your true language, or even that you have a God that looks like

you, you're only given the illusion of freedom."

Alyce Brown Knox, a Cincinnati area educator for 45 years, commends the Nation

of i11 il' (YAHWEH's) efforts to teach their children. She states, "While I may not

worship the same as the Nation of YAHWEH, I can recognize a number of reasons

why you'd want to educate your own; because you can provide a calmer study

environment than what our public schools have to offer; you can provide nourishing

meals and help develop healthy eating habits for the students instead of all that junk

food public schools try to pass on to our kids; and you can provide the students with

more of a cultural background. We all know how important culture is to any race,

and we know our culture is not included in the texts. That's why I can agree with

YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH when he says that if you don't know who you are, you

can't be what you should be, but what someone else thinks you ought to be."

with a message that encompassed realizing our true history and making our lives

better for ourselves, by ourselves; and both recognized that the ultimate issue in our

salvation is the fight between good and evil.

Could it be that history will repeat itself so long as we remain unenlightened to the

lessons from the past? That's why we want to continue to introduce you to "The

expense (and the process of another trial, to a certain degree of thinking) shows there was no validity to the

innocent all along; especially since they dropped the other charges and there was only one guilty verdict in the federal

How often have you heard doctors recommend that eliminating red meat from your

diet will restore vitality and health?

Have you also heard that numerous health care officials now recommend that your

diet be centered around beans, grains, nuts, fruits, and vegetables in order to

maintain optimum health?

Did you know that SUGAR is listed as the number one drug addiction in this country

--high above heroin and cocaine? Are you aware that there are Biblical tenets that

can be followed to ensure health?

Did you know that il 1 il ' 13 il 1 il ' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) has been teaching

those tenets, and what others now recommend, to his followers since 1976? Can you

believe that serving vegetarian meals of beans, rice, vegetables, and bread have been

Dr. Paul Goss, Dr. Alvina Fulton, Dr. John Christopher and even Dick Gregory

would find it hard to believe, and so does Sheriah Shuah Israel. "I came to Miami

in 1984 to be a full-time worker in the Nation and I had very little energy and

stamina. It was YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH's diet that renewed my strength and made

my skin glow so," she stated. Israel wants everyone to know that her diet has given

her optimum health. "I'm shouting out, I feel wonderful and not too many folks my

age can say that. I was born in 1908, but I don't look like it, do I? I walk every day

and I can do my exercises, but if I had continued to eat like I used to before meeting

YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH, I'd be dead today-- I know that!"

-Is the Incarceration of il 1 il ., r 3 il1 il ., (Yahweh Ben

Yahweh) Cruel and Unusual Punishment?

The Eighth Amendment to the· United States Constitution prohibits " ... excessive

fines, and ... cruel and unusual punishments." While a number of people are aware

of the Eighth Amendment in relation to death penalty matters, many of us forget

that the "cruel and unusual punishment" clause refers to how a prisoner is treated

and whether the punishment is inappropriate or disproportionate to the crime for

which the punishment is being applied.

il 1il' 13 il 1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) was sentenced to serve 18 years for

conspiracy to violate R.I.C.O., and was designated to and is being held at the United

States Penitentiary at Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, which is a maximum security

institution that houses men sentenced to 25 years or more, and violent, incorrigible

inmates. "When they (inmates) can't make it anywhere else, this is one of the places

where they're sent," stated a Bureau of Prisons Correctional Officer, who wished not

to be identified. "I'm sure you've heard that we have our own graveyard because we

have so many inmates murdered here!" the officer continued.

The question becomes: is this the type of place for i1 1 i1 ' 13 i1 1 i1 ' (YAHWEH BEN

YAHWEH), who was acguitted and found not guilty in two of three counts against

him in federal court, and who was completely freed of all state first-degree murder

charges in December 1992? Many are asking this question, especially since the state

cases were based on the same evidence, facts, and witnesses as part of the federal

case.

.. So while i1 1il' 13 i1 1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) awaits the appeal on the

results of that federal trial, should he remain in a maximum security penitentiary?

Does he deserve to be housed under such extreme and threatening conditions based

on the nature of his conviction and the circumstances of his background? Is his

present location in direct contradiction to Bureau of Prison guidelines? One prison

official, who also declined to be named, agrees nothing in YAHWEH's file indicates

he should be at Lewisburg as opposed to a medium to minimum level correctional

facility or camp. "He has no prior criminal record, no record of violence. He

received an honorable discharge from the Air Force and, while behind bars, has been

an exemplary prisoner. So, why is he here (Lewisburg)? He really should be at

another institution," the official commented.

In light of what our Constitution guarantees, supported by the nature of the

conviction against him, and even how those within the system consider the circum

stances, isn't i1 1il' 13 i1 1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH's) incarceration in the

penitentiary in Lewisburg a violation of his rights under the Eighth Amendment

STATE TRIAL VIOLATES FIFTH AMENDMENT!

-Did you know that the Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution

guarantees that no person shall " ... be subject for the same offense to be twice put

in jeopardy of life of limb ... ?'.' If you were put on trial in a federal court for a case

that involved the murder of an individual and you were acquitted by the jury, and you

were then indicted in state court for that same murder -- facing the death penalty -

wouldn't you believe your rights under the Fifth Amendment were being trampled

upon? Isn't that DOUBLE JEOPARDY that you have heard about?

Unbelievable that anything like that could happen in the 1990s, isn't it? But that is

exactly what happened to Jesse Obed Israel and Abiri Israel, who like il 1il' 13

il 1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH), were acquitted in December 1992 of state first

degree murder charges. Jesse Obed and Abiri were FOUND NOT GUILTY IN

FEDERAL COURT only to be rearrested before they could leave the federal

courthouse by the State of Florida on murder charges that stemmed directly from the

federal case. The verdicts in the state case were the second time that they were

found NOT GUIL1Y by a jury!

How does something like this happen? The argument by our federal and state

governments is that the federal charges were R.I.C.O. with the murder being the

underlying charge, while the state charges were murder per se. Their main con

tention is that the Fifth Amendment does not apply to prosecutions in different,

independent jurisdictions. Yet, your state tax dollars were used to prosecute these

men for the same offense, with the same investigators' reports, the same witnesses,

and the same photographs and charts that were used in the federal case; moveover,

the same prosecutor, who was on loan from the state to the federal court, was used

in both jurisdictions.

Therefore, defense attorneys referred to these state charges as a do-over, pointing

out that the State of Florida made a deliberate decision to give the evidence of the

1986 murder to the federal authorities to include in its R.I.C.O. prosecution against

il 1 il ' 13 il 1 il ' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) and his codefendants. What was later

discovered, from the sworn testimony of an attorney for the state, is that this decision

was made not because there was such strong evidence that a guilty verdict was

imminent, but because the EVIDENCE AGAINST THE DEFENDANTS WAS SO

WEAK THAT UNLESS IT WAS INCLUDED IN A CHAIN OF OTHER WEAK

ALLEGATIONS, THE DEFENDANTS WOULD PROBABLY BE FOUND NOT

GUILTY. And all defendants were in fact found not guilty.

These facts strongly indicate that these jurisdictions -- federal and state -- were work

ing together, not independently, to bring these cases to trial. Are Jesse Obed and

Abiri merely blessed that their 26-month long ordeal ended favorably? Should we,

as a community, permit our governments to do what the Constitution prohibits?

FIRST AMENDMENT ABUSE CONTINUES!

-You are certainly aware that the First Amendment to our Constitution guarantees

Did you know that religious freedom extends to incarcerated individuals, too? In

fact, because so many liberties are stripped from a person who is imprisoned, it is

extremely important that certain privileges are protected, such as the right to worship

Would you also strongly agree that careful attention should be paid to any

bureaucratic policy that tends to favor one religious faith over another?

Can you believe that the Federal Bureau of Prisons takes the position that the Nation

of il1il' (YAHWEH) "IS NOT AN APPROVED RELIGION?"

Does this issue have to be argued in court again in order to allow prisoners to

worship their God as they choose? Think about it. If Christians, Muslims, and Jews

can receive study materials, hold services, have clergy visits, and wear articles such

as crosses and head coverings, then why should the policy be any different for the

The Nation of il1il" (YAHWEH), as an entire religious group, was unconstitutionally

indicted as a racketeering enterprise, its practices were attacked as a farce and a ruse

by federal prosecutors, and now the Bureau of Prisons declares that the Nation of

abuses stop?

If you were asked, right this minute, "What qualities describe a leader?" how would

you answer? Perhaps some would immediately turn to athletic achievement as a

quality, and look to people like Michael Jordan or Magic Johnson as leaders, correct?

Others may value creative excellence as a top leadership quality, and view Michael

Jackson, Whitney Houston, or Eddie Murphy as leaders.

What do you think? Does athletic achievement or creative excellence make one a

leader, per se? What other qualities do you look for in a leader?

"I have liked folks who were self-appointed leaders," says Aaron Israel, a Los

Angeles based mortgage banker. Israel, who follows the teachings of il 1 il ' 13

il lil' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH), recognizes a leader as an individual appointed

and accepted by the people. "That's what I find in il lil' 13 il lil' (YAHWEH

BEN YAHWEH). He came with a message that was uplifting and inspiring, not a

beginning, insisted that we research and question everything he says, so that from our

studies, we could 'consciously' accept or reject him and his message."

It is this quality that Israel welcomes in a leader. While i1 lil' 13 i1 lil' (YAHWEH

BEN YAHWEH) encouraged his numerous followers and supporters to purchase

hotels, apartments, supermarkets and real estate, his entrepreneurial spirit is not what

attracted Israel first: "It was his strength and a sincere knowledge of who you are

to state ... 'don't believe it because I said it, look it up for yourself, so you'll know

for yourself whether I speak the truth or not.' That's why we accept i1 lil' 13

i1 lil' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) as a leader, because he is strong enough to give

us that challenge and choice, and because we know, from that choice, that he does

speak the truth."

How do you recognize a leader? Do you look for someone who has the ability to act

without guidance? Someone capable of making decisions on his own? Do you look

for someone who demonstrates good judgement and sound thinking? If these

qualities describe how to recognize a leader, then you are looking for someone who

exhibits responsibility.

Responsibility also describes an individual who accepts obligation without the desire

for credit or recognition, and who takes on that obligation or burden while helping

others become responsible.

"Yahweh Ben Yahweh personifies responsibility!" exclaimed Sarah Nardea Israel.

"Yahweh Ben Yahweh came alone to Miami and founded the Nation of il 1 il .,

(YAHWEH). He took on the burden of passing the message and word of God,

il1il" (YAHWEH), by himself. At times he was spat upon, had dogs set on him,

and had folks call him profane names. Yet, he continued in his mission to establish

Israel, who first learned of illil' 13 illil' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) while she

lived in Atlanta, now resides in San Antonio, Texas, where she enjoys a lucrative

career as a travel agent. She was especially impressed that during the government's

investigation into illil' 13 illil' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH's) finances, what they

found to be true what she had already known -- that ill il' 13 ill il ., (YAHWEH

BEN YAHWEH) was responsible enough to take no money for himself, to give credit

to God for all that the Nation accomplished, and to acknowledge others with credit

for their work. "You do know that Yahweh Ben Yahweh took a vow of poverty way

back in 1976? Why do people find that hard to believe? But the federal government

knows that he doesn't have any personal wealth and hasn't hidden any assets. See,

that makes him 'responsible.' He taught us that in order to be truly empowered, you

have to recognize the ability to choose your response. So when the government or

anyone else tries to degrade the principles he taught by saying that the Nation of

il1 il ' (YAHWEH) is just a 'so-called religion' and a money-making front for Yahweh

Ben Yahweh, then we are able to respond secure in the truth."

She continued, "That's just one example of being 'responsible.' Yahweh Ben Yahweh

teaches that in order to honor the past, you cannot blame the past for our present

You have already figured out that vision deals with seeing, right? That's correct.

Vision is synonymous with physical eyesight. Perhaps you think of increased and

frequent sightings of the Virgin Mary as also being synonymous with vision. Or

maybe the shadows that are drawn in your mind when you dream are the types of

things you associate with vision?

But there is a less recognized meaning of vision associated with leadership. A leader

that has vision possesses perception of a given circumstance, has the mental

penetration to see beyond the surface appearance of a matter, and is blessed with the

ability to maintain objectivity.

Wende Rush, an attorney who was co-counsel for il1 il ' ? 3 il1 il ' (YAHWEH BEN

YAHWEH), and who helped coordinate the defense team in the state cases in which

not guilty verdicts and dismissals were the results, can describe the type of vision

il1il' ?3 il1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) possesses. "I'll tell ya an example of

his perception of a situation, that" not too many folks know. About three weeks

before the state trial began, we were at a hearing before the trial judge that went

really bad for the defense. Judge Snyder not only ruled against us, but yelled at our

attorneys, and as they say on the street -- totally 'dis'd' Yahweh Ben Yahweh's

attorney, Jayne Weintraub, so much so that we wanted to ask the judge to be

removed from the case. When you have a judge that shows his dislike for you up

front, you don't want him ruling on your objections; or if you lose, especially in a

death case, you don't want that judge sentencing your client. Well we were ready to

get this judge off the case, but Yahweh Ben Yahweh said no. I remember his words:

'I've studied the matter: This judge will give us a fair trial, and we are gonna win!'

We looked at Yahweh like he was insane, but the client has the final word, so we

trusted in his faith in the judge, and Yahweh was right. The judge ended up being

fair throughout the trial to both sides, and we ended. up walking away with four outta

four 'not guilty' verdicts!"

Rush grinned widely as she related the story and pounded the desk as she stated the

victorious verdict. "That's just one small example. But the true indication of the

vision that Yahweh Ben Yahweh possesses is the vision that he instilled in his

followers," she remarked. "They love him, they respect him, they believe he is more

than worthy of their trust, but their faith is based on God, whose name is YAHWEH.

He taught them to take on the qualities of God, il1 il' (YAHWEH), to be self

sufficient, to pool their resources, to depend on their common strengths, and to not

-Qualities of Leadership: Principled

To be principled is to be motivated to be moral, or have ethical concepts. Being

principled also means having a positive foundation. It indicates simple truths, and

gives an individual a center from which to tackle more complicated issues. This is

what many expect from a leader and what many leaders hope to instill in their

followers.

"Yahweh Ben Yahweh taught in numerous classes that we needed to study the moral

attributes and to inculcate them into our own character," states Habakkuk David

Israel, an independent contractor in the construction industry from Shawnee, Kansas.

"He (Yahweh Ben Yahweh) exhibited those attributes in his dealings with us and with

the community. I'm so glad I followed his example because when I left Miami to

come out here to take over my grandfather's business, I came to see how important

it is to exemplify a moral character in my work. I learned from Yahweh Ben Yahweh

that if you want to be trusted, then be trustworthy. I learned that instead of trying

to be recognized for my talents to build my ego, that I must first have a sincere

desire to develop a righteous character. I smile sometimes when people compliment

my work, and ask how I can do such a good job at such a reasonable cost, because

I know it's due to the principles Yahweh Ben Yahweh helped me understand."

Israel welcomes questions about Yahweh Ben Yahweh and the Nation of Yahweh,

especially when the questions concern what people have read or heard in the media

about religious cults. "Because I know what Yahweh Ben Yahweh taught, I like

explaining what he 'really' taught. What he gave us was not about religion. He

taught us principles of living; that while these principles may be a part of most

religions, they are not unique to any one religion. Principles like integrity, fairness,

service, excellence, honesty, love, and dignity are universal. These principles have

nothing to do with religious practices of whether you baptize by dunking or

sprinkling, or whether you kneel or stand to pray. Practices are specific actions for

specific circumstances. Yahweh Ben Yahweh also taught us that principles are not

values either, because a group of thieves can have values; you know like not ratting

on each other, but their own practice of stealing from others is in direct violation of

a fundamental principle-- honesty. Therefore, they have a character flaw."

-Qualities of Leadership: Power

What first thought do you get when you hear or read the word "power?" Do the

words "strength," "force," and "energy" come to mind? When the United States is

referred to as a "Super Power," do you think of America's military potency?

What if you acquaint "power" with someone considered a leader in the community,

what comes to mind? Do you picture that individual as one in control, or who can

exercise influence over others? Do you define "power" in such a leader as a negative

or positive quality?

Shammua Israel, who volunteers his free time to do security and maintenance at the

Barclay Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia, recognizes the positive aspect of "power" when

used as a quality his leader, il1il' 13 il1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH), possesses.

"Power is the capacity to act. It's the vital energy you need to make choices and

decisions. It takes power to get things done; to accomplish goals. I learned from

Yahweh Ben Yahweh that he encompasses that kind of power, not just because he has

a bunch of followers or that there are hotels, apartment buildings, and businesses that

his followers control, but because through Yahweh Ben Yahweh, you can easily see

that power also includes the ability to overcome deeply embedded habits. He teaches

us to use power over our mind-sets to cultivate higher, more effective habits for our

own lives and those of our Nation as a whole."

Using the tools that il lil' 13 il lil' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) gives to his

students, Israel researches any particular subject thoroughly to understand it and

develop it for the benefit it can bring. "That's the type of power I see in Yahweh

Ben Yahweh, and I want to copy. See, I could look at the fact that Blacks on a whole

are not in control of their own neighborhoods, and think that we never will be; that's

feeling powerless. But because we receive empowerment from knowing our true

history, culture, language, and inheritance, we perceive negative conditions as merely

temporary and go to work to make a difference. I am bound to own and control my

neighborhood; and with others who think like me, there are no limits. That's power-

the power of mind and faculty of action. This is what Yahweh Ben Yahweh possesses

and shares with us."

-Qualities of Leadership: Courage

Ever heard the prayer, "Father grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot

change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the

difference?" Did you ever wonder just what type of courage does it take to change

things that are within our power to alter? Think for a moment about the number of

times you have wished that you could bring about world peace, or better race

relations, but just resigned yourself to believe that these were things that you could

not change.

Now think a moment about the men and women who had the courage to make that

change. Harriet Tubman could not accept servitude as a way of life, so she changed

her life by having the courage to escape and come back again and again to help

others to freedom. Dr. Martin Luther King's true contribution to our people was not

a doctrine of non-violence that history wants you to believe, but the courage he was

able to instill in Southern Blacks who had once feared standing up to oppression.

Those same Blacks marched in the streets, faced ferocious dogs and stinging fire

hoses, went to frightening jails with their new-found courage, and continued to show

that courage by supporting Walter Houston and Thurgood Marshall as they

successfully argued in the courts for school desegregation.

Have any idea yet what type of courage it takes to make a change? It requires

determination, tenacity, and confidence. It's the type of courage il 1 il ' 13 il 1 il '

(YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) possessed to establish the Nation of il 1il' (YAHWEH).

"I think back on some of our early classes, way back in 1980," says Naphtali Israel,

"and I'm still amazed at how Yahweh Ben Yahweh confronted us by telling us that the

way we lived, that our inadequate housing, unemployment, drug abuse in our

community, and lack of role models was our fault. Man, did that ever spark a heated

discussion on how the white man was holding us down. Yahweh Ben Yahweh put us

all back on the right track by giving us true history lessons -- yes, we were put in

slavery, killed, mistreated-- but once we were freed physically, we never accepted

responsibility to change our condition. Even when we were demonstrating for our

rights in the 60's, most of us deserted the fight as soon as we got a job, 'cause that

was all we really wanted. That took courage to bring us that realistic look at

ourselves."

It was il 1il' 13 il 1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) who was the catalyst for change

in Naphtali Israel, who now owns his own business in Miami, and who, with his wife,

is raising nine children. "If you had known me before I met Yahweh Ben Yahweh,

you wouldn't recognize me. I don't even like to repeat how rotten a person I was.

But Yahweh Ben Yahweh tempered the courageous way he confronted us with the

truth, with a balance of hope and showed us a way to make a change within first,

that now shows on the outside. What Yahweh Ben Yahweh gave me was the courage

to believe that I didn't have to accept what I had been given -- an inferiority complex

-- and the courage to believe that God, Yahweh, chose me to be a ruler; but that

first, I had to rule myself. I'll always be thankful for that courage."

churches that depict Jesus C~rist as a white man on Good Friday, April 9, 1993?

Why?

importance of a proper understanding of the perspective of color?

-"My folks made me go to Sunday school and church, and the only pictures of Jesus

I saw were on the fans and in the Bible. He was always painted white, with blond

hair and blue eyes. Something inside me just instinctively knew that if Jesus is white,

then God must be white and, _therefore, I was born with one strike against me. So

I just never paid much attention to religion and faith in God," stated Abel Abdon

Israel, a 15-year old track star and honor student from Caldwell, Texas.

"What caused me to start asking questions," Abel continued, "was a trip our class

took to San Antonio. We visited the Alamo and stuff like that, but they also took

us to this Catholic church -- San Fernando Cathedral -- that was supposed to be the

oldest mission church in North America. There, in the middle, right behind that alter

was the traditional statue of crucified white Jesus, but over in the left corner in the

back of the church was a Black Jesus hanging on the cross. What attracted my

attention was the large number of candles lit in front of the Black Jesus and the

people who kept coming to pray in front of this statue. My Spanish is pretty good

so I asked one of the Hispanic ladies why she was praying to this Christ versus the

other one. Her answer really puzzled me, because she said that her son was in

Desert Storm and that everyone knew that the Black Christ understood suffering and

was the 'real' Redeemer."

"But wait just one minute," Abel exclaimed, "I then read in several books and in Jet

Magazine how the Pope has a painting of the Black Madonna and Child in his pri

vate chapel, and that in Poland they pay homage to this portrait of the Black

Madonna because they believe it was painted by Jesus' disciple Luke. But then I

went with my grandmother to her church, an AME church, and there, bigger than

life, directly over the pulpit, was a stained glassed white Jesus, blond hair and the

works. I told my grandmother all that I had seen and learned, and in church, in front

of everybody, she slapped my mouth, and yelled at me, 'It don't matter, God ain't got

no color, and don't you be bothered with such foolishness."'

"Whew, was I embarrassed and confused, until I read Lessons One and Two taught

by Yahweh Ben Yahweh. Now I take pride in my relationship with God, Yahweh, and

I know that all races are His children, but I also know that you don't send a lifeguard

to rescue people who are swimming, okay, but to those who are drowning."

It was il 1il' 13 il 1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH's) teachings that helped erase

that confusion for thousands like Abel.

-Have you heard about the 30-minute film called "The Second Coming," produced by

actor Blair Underwood, star of L.A. Law, in which he plays Jesus?

Did you know that this film_ is considered controversial because it is the first

production in which Jesus is depicted as a Black man?

Perhaps you watched the "Donahue Show" that aired nationwide the week of

April 19, 1993, which was entitled~ "Would You Pray to a Black Jesus?" Did you

hear Blair Underwood explain that his film is about enlightenment that includes the

fact that historically and anthropologically the man, Jesus, was a man of color?

Are you aware that il 1il., 13 il 1il., (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) has been disclosing

this same fact through his lectures and teachings since 1976? Would you be amazed

to learn that because il 1 il ., 13 il 1 il ., (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) -- like Blair

Underwood, Bishop Stallings, and Dr. Cain Hope Felder -- taught the "Blackness"

of Jesus, the prophets, and the Biblical characters, that he was accused of fostering

hatred for whites?

"That couldn't be further from the truth!" emphasized Kenaan Israel. "In fact, when

I came into the knowledge of Yahweh as God, I came with a deep-seated hatred for

white people. Yahweh Ben Yahweh taught me how NOT to hate. I was a product

of the 60's civil rights struggle. I witnessed the dogs, the firehoses, the violence

against us just because we wanted equality. If I had had contact with a militant

group that was advocating the violent overthrow of white folks, I'd have joined; but

instead, thanks to Yahweh, in 1980, I met Yahweh Ben Yahweh. Yeah, he taught the

truth about the color of Christ and the prophets, but he also taught color was not to

be used as an excuse or reason to hate! He gave me a whole new perspective to life.

I saw, through his classes, that to sit around hating whites for burying the truth was

a disease, a sickness. It was Yahweh Ben Yahweh who cured me. He saved me!"

Kenaan, a resident of Liberty City, Florida, is a disc jockey and radio producer. He

took the message on the blackness of the Bible to share with the brothers he grew

up with in his neighborhood. "You should have seen me running up to them smiling

and declaring 'We ain't no niggers, man. We're the people of the Bible!' But that

wasn't the end of the revelation. I also had to pass on what Yahweh Ben Yahweh

taught me. He taught me that love conquers all, and that if you want to be

successful, you must build and construct something positive on this knowledge and

not dwell in a negative emotion like hatred."

-Have you ever heard comments like these when the subject is the color or race of

God and Jesus?

"When God said He was going_ to make man in His image, He did not mean white,

green or any color. It was supposed to be spiritually like Him."

"Jesus' role was a man who taught love. Color has nothing to do with it."

"If God is the end-all and be-ali of salvation, what difference is His color?"

Have you ever made comments like these? Does the color of Jesus really matter?

"I have a problem with anybody saying that the color of Jesus doesn't matter," states

Jacquelyn Smith-Brooks, an advertising executive from the metropolitan Chicago

area. "It (His color) matters, especially when the concept of him as white has been

used to degrade and demoralize another race. Think about it-- how would it look

for a slave to have a black Messiah hanging on his wall? The slave worshipped the

Messiah, who was white, as offered by Michelangelo, so that the notion was impress

ed in that slave that white people are to be obeyed, respected, and looked up to. It's

insidious, but it's true; and as a dominated people, that is still true with us as a

nation, a race today. Why? Because we allow our children to grow up with this

same notion, that in order to be rriade in God's image, you had to be born white."

Smith-Brooks, who chooses not to use her Hebrew name, Milcah, for business

purposes, became a follower of the teachings of ill il ' 13 ill il ' (YAHWEH BEN

YAHWEH) in 1985 after hearing Him speak at a rally in California while she was

visiting a friend in Los Angeles. ''Yahweh Ben Yahweh expressed the fact that Jesus,

the prophets, and the people of the Bible were people of color, but I had heard that

before from reading books by a number of folks like Dr. Yosef ben-Jochannan and

John G. Jackson. What I liked about Yahweh Ben Yahweh was that He answered my

question of what do we do with this knowledge, this truth. He told us that the truth

would set us free, and then explained freedom. We are free to transform from the

mind-set slavery created: you know, waiting for someone to take care of us. We

are free to control the economics and ownership of our communities. We are free

to educate our own children. We are free to deal with our own social problems and

progressions. We are free to exercise our political rights as we see fit-- not as others

may think or predict we should. We are free to worship Yahweh as a way of

life, not just a religion. Do I hate whites for trying to hide the truth? Frankly, I

What about the subject of the ''blackness" of Christ and God? There is a rebirth of

this controversy in the '90s, isn't there?

Let's consider again the meaning of diversion. What are we deflected from, and how

are we distracted, from what? Are we owners of our communities? Do we have our

own economic base? Do we elect, support, and can we count on our governmental

representatives? Do we educate our own children? Do our churches and religions

truthfully reflect our culture? Do any of our community programs adequately

address our social problems?

Now do we understand diversion? Oh, did you know that diversion also means a

GAME? Could it be that the "Color Game" is the "Color Diversion" used to keep

you from dwelling on the real substance of the issues?

-Are you aware of the unwritten rules of the "Color Game?" Have you ever heard

Rule Number One: "Create nonexistent, arbitrary customs, taboos, social conditions,

and regulations based on skin color and physical features?"

Did you know that one of the objectives of the game is to divide the people against

each other on the basis of race to foster distrust and hatred?

Moreover, can you believe that one way the objective is met is by labeling African

Americans who encourage historical accuracy and who support uplifting blacks as

reverse racists?

"You know, when I first heard about Yahweh Ben Yahweh, I thought he was teaching

hatred for whites. I resented that," explains Yisro Israel, a Mexican-American and

former elder with the Church of Latter Day Saints (Mormon Church), ''because I

thought talking about who was black in the Bible and about how history was

rewritten to exclude black achievements was designed to make blacks feel superior.

To me, that appeared to be like a military coup, where the oppressed take the place

of the oppressor, and become just as bad."

Yisro visited Miami in 1986 on the urgings of his wife, and was surprised at how well

he was accepted. "Boy, had I been wrong. Yahweh Ben Yahweh had not been

teaching hate. I can't properly describe the respect and love I was shown. Since my

first visit, I have read every book He has written and have listened to every tape He

has made, even as far back as 1980. I know now that he has been teaching truth and

reality. When you carry around a lot of guilt for what your ancestors did, those are

two things that you may have trouble facing. So I can see how his teachings have

been misunderstood. When you misunderstand, you fear the message or are

suspicious of it. What I want to make clear is that I can see that Yahweh Ben

Yahweh has a message for all races, all nations; a message that can bring us together

again as the family of all colors that we really are. That's why I moved with my wife

and children to be a part of the Nation of Yahweh."

was actually BLACK) is causing Bible scholars, theologians, clergy, historians, and

laymen to rethink their positions as leaders, writers, and advisors. What effect will

the revelation of these findings h_ave on traditional Christian-Judea doctrines and its

believers? The teachings of i1 1 i1 ' 73 i1 1 i1 ' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) have and

continue to depict not only the true color of the characters of the Bible, but biblically

links the national origin of all people on the Earth today.

Did the media manipulate the teachings of i1 1i1' 73 i1 1i1' (YAHWEH BEN

YAHWEH) to distort the minds of the public? Is i1 1i1' 73 i1 1i1' (YAHWEH BEN

YAHWEH) and the Nation of il 1il' (YAHWEH) for Blacks only? We've included

in our series, ''The Real Yahweh Ben Yahweh: The Color Game," an interview be-

tween People for Truth reporter, S.B. Israel, and Gail G., a non-black flight

attendant and part-time realtor of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, to clarify these questions.

SBI: Thank you, Gail, for agreeing to our interview. What brought about your acquaintance with Yahweh Ben Yahweh and the Nation of Yahweh?

GG: A business transaction.

SBI: As a woman of European descent, did you have reservations about meeting Yahweh Ben Yahweh?

GG: Initially, yes. The negative media coverage, that Yahweh Ben Yahweh teaches His disciples that all whites are devils, portrays a distorted and violent character of the Nation. I was extremely hesitant to meet him; but, I had to, in order to seal the potential business deal.

SBI: Are you familiar with the term "color or skin color game" and, do you think it is instrumentally used to shape public attitudes and opinions?

GG: Yes. Players of the skin color game have several objectives; mainly, to keep the people of the world divided against each other. For instance, the media uses the skin color game to produce fear in the minds of whites and blacks, to distract them from leaders like Yahweh Ben Yahweh. Focusing on the topic of Yahweh Ben Yahweh's teachings that the people of the Bible are black and that American blacks are God's chosen people automatically causes white people to display fear, hatred, and resentment.

SBI: How were you received when you visited the capital city of the Nation of Yahweh?

GG: I was treated very well. The hospitality was impeccable. Quite royal, in fact. I was extremely impressed by how well the children were trained and educated, even in the early childhood development stages. However, the white devil issue still troubled me. So, I asked Yahweh Ben Yahweh about it.

SBI: What was Yahweh Ben Yahweh's response to your inquiry?

GG: He explained that all people with evil intentions are devils -- whites, blacks, Native Americans and so on, which eased my discomforts. Had I let that bother me, I would have missed what I really needed from Yahweh Ben Yahweh, which was spiritual growth.

SBI: Are you now a convert?

GG: I don't wear the culture of His followers, or study as they do, or even believe all they believe. Yahweh Ben Yahweh ministered unto my soul and spirit, just like my own pastor would do.

SBI: Gail, what did you gain from your visit to the Nation of Yahweh and Yahweh Ben Yahweh?

GG: The truth. The business deal was not important to Yahweh Ben Yahweh, I was important; me-- a white woman. What Yahweh Ben Yahweh gave me was calming, sincere, and needed. I left knowing that Yahweh Ben Yahweh is sent from God.

Where does the education of our children • beKin and who should teach them? Who are the true

benefactors of universal (public) education?

The University of il lil' (YAHWEH), founded in 1979 by il lil' 13 il lil'

(YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH), is established upon the highest degree of principles and

standards for academic achievement. il lil' 13 il lil' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH)

teaches the essentiality of teaching our own children. The importance of this

principle, for the proper development of our children, is illustrated in Deuteronomy

4:9-10.

The so-called abolition of slavery allowed ex-slaves to exercise their right to receive

an education through grass-root movements. The 'Bible was the primary textbook

used by the new so-called "Freedmen" until the "intellectual branch" (Black politicians

and leaders) joined Republicans in southern constitutional conventions to "legalize

public education." Black politicians and wealthy Northern philanthropists recognized

the opportunity to capitalize on the ignorant masses of ex-slaves. Together, they

negotiated "schools in exchange for agricultural and industrialized'' labor contracts.

gain? The foiiowing statement was made in 1899, by northern philanthropist,

Wiiiiam H. Baldwin: "THE POTENTIAL ECONOMIC VALUE OF THE NEGRO

POPULATION. PROPERLY EDUCATED. IS INFINITE AND INCALCUL

ABLE. IN THE NEGRO IS THE OPPORTUNITY OF THE SOUTH. TIME

HAS PROVEN THAT HE IS BEST FITTED TO PERFORM THE HEAVY

LABOR IN THE SOUTHERN STATES. THE NEGRO AND THE MULE IS

Who is responsible for the current crisis in America's public educational system?

What does il 1 il ' 13 il 1 il ' (Yahweh Ben Yahweh) say about education?

By definition, educational institutions are: 1) committed to social change and innova

tion; 2) conservative in nature due to their dependency on public assistance; 3)

supportive of the status quo by training people in the existing culture and, 4) generally

supportive of local systems of social stratification and prestige. The educational

system has an oscillating method of operation. For instance, when political pressures

arise to alter the structure of social stratification, the schools follow; yet, when the

schools, in our view, reflect the norms and values of the community, they have little

or no independence as educational institutions. Sociologists suggest that schools

serve as agents for social mobility; however, the current deteriorating state of

America's educational institution presents international shame and humiliation. If

educational institutions meet the above criteria, can we safely hold the present system

largely responsible for the chaotic state of America's public school environment and

its respective communities?

children are to be geared toward the reality of nationhood." Based on these

principles, our children will automatically grow up to be producers.

Does public education serve the best interest of our children's economic growth?

A report published by the National Center for Research in Vocational Education

states that, "Generally, educators prepare individuals to be 'employees,' not

employers. There is a desperate need for educational programs to help educate

students to be employers." The publication also says, "Career education has done

little to acquaint individuals with entrepreneurship as a career option." The Small

Business Administration reports that, "small business is the fuel that moves the

American economy and the livelihood of America depends on increased productivity

among the small business sector." The Washington Times reported in its May 21,

1993 edition that the 1992 earned income for African-Americans topped $270 billion.

However, less than two percent of the goods and services consumed by the African

American population was actually produced by them. Why, then, has the public

educational system failed to train and prepare us and our children to become

entrepreneurs and producers versus seekers of jobs that no longer exist? Why has

public education also failed to teach us and our children the principles of morality?

Why have our educators failed to properly prepare us to function in a society that is

superficially founded on moral standards?

The educational system of il lil., (YAHWEH) provides its student body with the

necessary tools to become international leaders and merchants. il1 il ' (YAHWEH)

Educational Center (YEC), is a preparatory school where the children are introduced

to international affairs and protocol. Skills and vocational development are

fundamental components of YEC's curriculum. Students enter Junior

Management/Entrepreneur Training programs at age 13, based on their readiness.

And, upon graduation, the children are prepared for either entrance into il 1 il '

(YAHWEH's) University or they become entrepreneurs and managers of existing

and/or new business start-ups. Which ever option the student chooses, he/she is

prepared to embrace self-sufficiency versus dependency. YEC students are taught

morality and the responsibility of citizenship from the beginning.

Do Our Courts Provide Justice?

Have you every heard people demand justice from our judicial system? Victims of

violent crimes want justice, right? Defendants within the criminal system should

receive justice, correct? Parties in child custody battles expect justice, don't they?

But do we know what people are demanding, wanting, should be receiving, and are

expecting from our courts?

The definition of justice includes "moral rightness," "equity," "fairness," and

"objectiveness." But do our courts include these meanings? The question is can we

demand "moral rightness" from a system that is not based on morality? Should we

desire "equity" from a system that allows disparity? Will we receive "fairness" from

the system that promotes inequity? Can we expect "objectiveness" from a system

that secretly accepts partiality?

You still believe in our court system? You believe that the justice system works?

However, how do you explain the increased surge in the use of guns within the last

year by people seeking justice in the courthouses, as in Dallas, Texas; Brooklyn, New

York; and Topeka, Kansas? How do you justify the California woman who killed the

man accused of sexually molesting her son?

Did you hear the federal judge's attempt to justify the lenient sentences he gave the

police officers convicted of beating Rodney King? Why are citizens of Los Angeles

concerned that severe sentences be handed down to the men standing trial for

attacking Reginald Denny?

Does our justice system work? Before you answer, examine the case of i1 1 i1 ' 13

i1 lil' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH), who was convicted by a federal jury that was

deadlocked for 5 and 1/2 days on the same evidence and the same witnesses that a

state jury relied on to find him not guilty. When will i1 1i1' 13 i1 1i1' (YAHWEH

BEN YAHWEH) finally be provided "justice?"

JUSTICE:


Is It Possible Under Our Current System?

-Is there moral rightness, equity, fairness, and objectiveness under our current justice

system? Does it really work to seek the truth in all matters? Haven't you heard

some say it worked for William ~ennedy Smith? Still others state Mike Tyson got

a raw deal, right?

Perhaps you remember that it took more than six years on death row for the justice

system to work in the case of Walter McMillan of Alabama, after being falsely

accused of murder and convicted based on evidence thought up and paid for through

plea bargains by the local authorities?

We know it failed to work and is taking an agonizingly long time to correct its errors

in the case of il1 il ., 13 il1 il ., (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) and the seven out of the

16 convicted in federal court for "conspiracy!"

But many skeptics argue that those who are critical of the justice system are the ones

who got their day in court and didn't like the result. You have heard that argument,

haven't you?

But have you heard that the United States has more of its population behind bars

than any other country in the world?* Maybe these skeptics know that criminal

justice is the fastest growing area of state and local spending. In fact, tax dollars

spent on criminal justice -- 60 percent of which is used to keep sentenced prisoners

behind bars -- increased by 232 percent from 1970 to 1990, while monies allocated

to health care increased only 71 percent, public welfare just 79 percent, and

education merely 32 percent!*

Better yet, perhaps you can read to the skeptics a quote from newly elected president

of the American Bar Association, R. William Ide III:

"The justice system is not working the way it's supposed to work. We need a

revolution to take place. From a national perspective, the court system is too

expensive, too slow, and not accessible enough. We are facing a justice system crisis

of epic proportions."

At What Price?

-Are there any particular expenses that are unique to the criminal justice system?

We already know that police officers have to be paid, right? Special funding is

constantly sought to fund crime fighting programs. Just look at the number of gang

violence task forces springing up around the country. That's why Clinton has started

drumming up support for his new crime bill that will help put 50,000 new police

officers on our nation's streets within five years through the allocation of $3.4 billion.

Of course, we are all aware that our jails and prisons must be run on ever escalating

budgets. Researchers have shown that more and more of our tax dollars are being

spent to build new prisons to try to house the ever increasing inmate population

because of the mandatory sentences that Attorney General Janet Reno now says

were not such a good idea anyway.

But have you ever wondered how much is spent to conduct a trial within the court

·system? The People for Truth wondered the same thing, especially the costs incurred

by the federal government in its less than successful prosecution of il 1 il ' 13 il 1 il '


Less than successful? Yes, so much so that the State of Florida had to try to finish

the job. And we have heard about the resulting NOT GUILTY verdicts. So just how

much did it cost us taxpayers to put on the trial? Unfortunately, we have not been

able to overcome the red tape of bureaucracy to find out about the U.S. vs. Yahweh

Ben Yahweh.

But what we have learned is that in the federal trial of the officers who beat Rodney

King-- that resulted in extremely lenient sentences for those officers -- the Justice

Department expended over half a million dollars ($500,000) for the trial alone, and

an additional $279,000 in witness fees and expenses. That's over $779,000, and does

not include investigation costs, jury fees, or even what the prosecutors were paid.

If we use that month and a half long trial as a guide, then the five and a half month

long trial of il 1il' 13 il 1il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH) and his 16 co-defendants

must have cost at least $4.2 million, and that figure doesn't even reflect the salaries

of the 17 court appointed attorneys, the staggering amount of money that must

have been spent in the FBI's investigation of the Nation of il 1 il ., (YAHWEH) that

was conducted over six years, nor the costs incurred by the U.S. District Court in

providing daily transcripts to the attorneys and sequestering a jury for a week; never

mind how much Florida spent before or after they turned the case over to the feds!

So what price justice? The next time your elected officials ask for an increase in

taxes to fight crime, tell them that if they stop wasting millions on long, protracted

trials that don't yield the results they want, then we'll have plenty of money to keep

our streets safe and to build new jails.

approximately 75,000 participants merged on the nation's capital that Saturday,

August 28? Also, did you know that the march was organized to commemorate the

thirtieth anniversary of the 1963 'March on Washington?

Do you wonder just what we have to commemorate: the "I Have A Dream" speech

by Dr. Martin Luther King, or the beginning of the end of oppression of Blacks in

this country? Can we truly state that either the speech by such an eloquent orator

or the crowd of more than 250,000 has us singing, "We have overcome" thirty years

later?

Then why are we still marching and singing "We shall overcome someday?" Why, in

1993, are we still asking for justice, jobs, and peace? Why do so many, who didn't

even participate in the 1993 march; feel rejected by America and desolate about the

future? Was it poor organizing or a new pessimistic reality that failed to bring out

the 175,000 who came before but were missing from the ranks 30 years later?

Why do a majority of whites have trouble comprehending that discrimination still

exists in this country? How is it that in 1993, whites feel their ancestors, and not

their generation, are responsible for blacks' problems? Why is the unemployment

rate, as of July 1993, 6.0 percent for whites and 12.9 percent for blacks? How do we

justify that our goals, as a race, have become diluted by the causes of other interest

groups-- women's rights, gays, and the physically challenged?

Will we have to march again in another 30 years for equal treatment within the

justice system, better jobs, and peace within our communities and the world?

The answers to these questions are found in the tenets of the Nation of il1 il'

(YAHWEH), and the teachings of il1il' 13 i11il' (YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH),

partly based on such Scriptures as Hosea 4:6 (KJV): "My people are destroyed for

lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that

thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, il1 il .,

(Yahweh), I will also forget thy children"; and Jeremiah 24:7 (KJV): "And I will give

them a heart to know me, that I am the LORD, il1il' (YAHWEH): and they shall

be my people and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole

heart."

-Is there any question in your mind that America, or the world for that matter, is still

experiencing the negative effects of the economic recession that reportedly ended 2

1/2 years ago? Ever notice the consequences of such a state: a backlash against

affirmative action gains; increase in violent crimes and robberies; and a high unem

ployment rate, just to name a few?

Focus on unemployment for just a moment. You are aware that companies are still

laying people off by the tens of thousands, right? So why did the nation's overall

unemployment rate dip from a high of 7.7 percent in June 1992 to 6.7 percent in

August 1993?

The answer? Companies are hiring part-timers to fill jobs normally reserved for full

time employees; and people working part-time are not considered unemployed by the

U.S. Labor Department, even though most want to be employed full-time, or despite

the fact that a large number of part-time employees are underemployed. Economists

believe that if the 6.5 million involuntary part-timers were counted as unemployed,

the nation's rate would double. This is especially significant to the Black community

that already has a 12.9 percent unemployment rate!

An ever increasing population of involuntary part-timers means an ever growing

number of persons working with no health benefits, no retirement or pension plans,

and no extra money to save or spend on large ticket items such as cars and homes.

''That's a scary picture, isn't it?" questions Minneapolis financial advisor, Micah Barak

Israel. "If you are struggling to feed a family, if you're a single mother trying to keep

clothes on the kids, or if you are middle-aged and laid-off, looking at this picture, you

would feel no hope and terribly alone."

Israel, who has been following the teachings of the Nation of i1 1 i1 ' (YAHWEH) for

12 years, explains that by returning to God, i1 1il' (YAHWEH), the fear of desolation

and being alone evaporated. "We, who have researched and accepted that Yahweh

is our God, have come together because we know who we are. We have regained

our true history and our true identity. We now recognize we are supposed to be one

and act as one. Regardless of whether an individual may have more to bring to the

pot than another, we learned to pool our resources to build our community."

Downsizing of the American work force to part-timers doesn't bother Israel,

" ... because Yahweh Ben Yahweh has taught us that as one, we can accomplish any

desire. What we accomplished under his direction in Miami is just an example of

what can be reached. By acting in accord, we had 100 percent employment, true

economic security, true unity, and true independence. We'll never be worried about

the state of the economy as long as we have what we gained by returning to Yahweh -

- ourselves and "true" unity!"

-Did you notice how the recent murders of the German and British tourists in Miami

and outside Tallahassee refocused attention to the ever increasing plague of senseless

violence in U.S. cities? Moreover, we can't forget the national attention given the

brutal slaying of basketball star Michael Jordan's father who had stopped along a

North Carolina highway to rest, correct?

The criminals? Gun-toting teenagers out to secure the American dream through

robbery, thievery, and murder.

What has been the response to all this earnest re-examination of a long-disturbing

trend throughout the country? Perhaps you heard about the mass of black youths

herded into police headquarters for interrogation in an attempt to solve the fatal

shooting of the British tourist? This government-sanctioned "gathering" was criticized

by community activists as a poorly thought-out, racist answer to the problem.

Another more generalized approach to the problem was suggested by George

Napper, commissioner of the Georgia Department of Children and Youth Services,

who sees little difference between our police-patrolled schools and Georgia's youth

detention centers. "It's really frightening. We've got to make tough choices, like

maybe snatching some kids away from dysfunctional families and helping them find

the right path in life. It may sound extreme, but it may be the most humane thing

we could do for the kids and for ourselves," says Napper.

"What it reminds me of," remarks Esther Israel, a public school teacher, originally

from New York, "is just what Yahweh Ben Yahweh predicted almost ten years ago.

He said that violent crime would become so bad in this country, and would become

such an extraordinary problem with non-white youths, that there would be work

camps or concentration camps established to take these young folks off the street and

outta our communities. Where else are you gonna house them when you start

snatching kids from their homes?"

Israel continued, "We have been taught by Yahweh Ben Yahweh that we must return

to the laws, statutes, judgements, and commandments of God, Yahweh, for the

answer to this persistent problem. The problem is rooted in the destruction of the

family and the community that acts as an extended family. Our Nation, the Nation

of Yahweh, is made up of families. ·The family unit provides moral principles for the

child, and by educating that child within our own schools, we reinforce those

principles. That way, our entire community acts as a counterbalance against the

glorification of violence on TV, video games and movies, and against the devaluation

of life found in today's society. Because we have regained our connection with

Yahweh, we have learned our true culture, which we pass on to our children. That

culture, despite the government's erroneous and malicious attack on Yahweh Ben

Yahweh, does not include resorting to violence to get what you want."

-Were you among the millions of Americans who watched President Clinton deliver

his address on health care reform? Will you also be one of the concerned citizens

who will call the White House, the Congress, and the Senate to voice a positive or

negative response during the upcoming hearings on the finalized plan that will be

given to the legislature in mid-October?

Why is there so much concern? Do you realize that health care reform will affect

all U.S. citizens, whether they are currently covered by health insurance or whether

they are among the 37 million uninsured? Did you know that the reform plan will

cost more than $400 billion over the next five years? Are you aware that Clinton

hopes to finance that cost by attempting to create a $238 billion savings from

Medicare and Medicaid, and by raising an additional $105 billion from a "sin tax" on

tobacco? Moreover, do you know that if Clinton's hopes on how to finance the

reform plan fail, the costs of the plan that has, to date, been criticized for the quality

of care it will provide, will fall on the shoulders of the taxpayers?

"I don't see how this can affect us as the Nation of YAHWEH, except as taxpayers,"

says Naomi Israel from Richmond, Virginia. "If we would follow YAHWEH's health

plan, we won't need whatever's gonna be set up."

Israel, a nurse, is one of this country's 11 million health care workers. "I've seen my

patients go through the ordeal of going from one doctor to another under the current

system with horrible results and staggering debts. I also attended a seminar during

which it was stated that by 1998, all citizens will be under one insurance carrier

anyway, which is just another precursor of the one world order."

"We won't need coverage at all if we return to YAHWEH's health plan, which means

following the dietary laws as listed in the Divine Dietary Law Book, and including

holistic diagnosis and medications and preventive programs," continues Israel, who

acknowledges that through Yahweh Ben Yahweh teaching her of her true culture, she

came to understand that a proper diet is a part of that culture, and is the basis of any

preventive measures.

"As a nurse, and as a personal choice, I don't have health insurance, and refuse to

get it. I see no need to spend my money in that area. It's just a trap. I believe we

need to spend our energies concentrating on YAHWEH's health plan. Now that's

real reform!"
