Mzumbe University offers Bachelor Programmes in three campuses for the academic year 2020/2021. These campuses are Main Campus-Morogoro; Dar es Salaam Campus College; and Mbeya Campus College. Applicants wishing to be admitted into one of these programmes have to clearly indicate their campus preferences during their applications. When selecting your programme, the Programme Code will signify the campus for which the programme is offered. Applicants may choose up to three choices and one may be selected depending on his/her preferences and the competition in academic performance. Mzumbe University invites applications from qualified Tanzanians and non-Tanzanians for admission into degree programmes offered

their system user accounts, email addresses and SMS through mobile phone number used during the application process. Please

A. GENERAL MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR DEGREE PROGRAMMES
(a) Direct Entry Qualifications (i) The applicant must have at least three (3) O-Level credit passes in relevant subjects according to specific programme.
(ii) The applicant must have at least two principal level passes at A-Level; provided that the total number of points is at
least 4.5 with EXCEPTION of Bachelor of Science with Education programme (MU025) offered in Faculty of Science and
Technology which requires at least 4.0 A-level points.
(iii) For purposes of calculating minimum cut-off points in (ii) above, the scale is as follows; A=5; B=4; C=3; D=2; E=1;
S=0.5. For candidates who sat for their Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination in 2014 and 2015, the
required scale is as follows; A=5; B+=4; B=3; C=2; D=1; E=0.5. Also note that, for the candidates who sat for their
Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination in 2014 and 2015, the Principal Pass starts with C.
(b) Equivalent Entry Qualifications
(i) Appropriate Diploma from an accredited training institution of not less than 3.0 GPA. In addition, the candidate must have
at least four passes at Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (O-Level).
(ii) Specific entry requirements are presented in each programme in section B below.
NOTE: Divinity/Bible Knowledge and Islamic Knowledge are NOT considered in the computation of cut-off points.
