Mythology Project: Individual Component Each member of the group will create a scrapbook page for their chosen deity on a 12 in. x 12 in. sheet of paper. It will be in a scrapbook- layout fashion, consisting of photos and information about the chosen deity. In addition, you must have a works cited page with at least 2 sources cited. Topics Topics will be based on your group’s chosen culture. Checklist: (400 points total) Students must have at least 3 photos and at least 6 important/interesting facts of their chosen topic. (90 points) Each photo must be clear (not fuzzy-looking). (5 points each) Each photo must be colored. (Black and white photos may be colored). (5 points each) Students must have a frame around each photo. (5 points each) Each fact must be accurate. (10 points each) Each fact must be important/interesting. (10 points each) Each fact must be written in a complete sentence. Do not use pronouns (such as “he,” “she,” “it,” “they,” etc.) (10 points each) Students must have a frame around the facts. (20 points) The 12 in. x 12 in. paper cannot be cut/trimmed. (20 points) Student has as complete, correctly cited works cited page with a minimum of two sources. (45 points) Rubric of Points Earned: 400-395 = 100 394-321 = A (90) 320-241 = B (80) 240-161 = C (75) 160-80 = D (70) Below 80 = F (0) We will be working on these projects in class several times; at least twice in the library and once in the computer lab. However, you will also be working on your group project at this time. As a result, this project will likely require you to do work outside of class as well. The final projects are due__________________________. These are also the days for your presentations. Late projects will not be accepted.
