The Justice Confederation heroes were well aware that Da Bomb was assembling an army of robotic bombs to take over the world and had to devise a clever strategy to stop Da Bomb - and fast! Everyone arrived safely as planned in a secret cave inside of Mount Super and the critical meeting convened. Before getting down to important business, the superheroes enjoyed appetizers and challenging ice-breaking superhero trivia questions while mingling and catching up with their fellow superheroes. The super colleagues participated in a hilarious superhero dance contest before starting the discussions. After some of the business on the agenda was deliberated, a scrumptious dinner was served and the superheroes teamed up to compete in a fun superhero movie challenge. Then, to everyone’s horror, a fellow hero suddenly collapsed to the floor...dead!! The superheroes joined forces to figure out whodunit as there’s nothing more dangerous than a traitorous superhero! After deciphering a code, uncovering motives and figuring out the locations of everyone during the murder, the investigative hero detectives turned in their best guesses of whodunit before taking a break to play the fun ‘What super thing am I’ game. Then, over a delicious dessert, the super group took turns explaining their involvement, if any, with the murder. To everybody's shock, the murderer confessed! The heroes capped off the meeting with a super entertaining game of superhero charades. Overall, the assembly was a great success as the location of Da Bomb was uncovered and the Justice Confederation immediately went to his hideout, apprehended him and saved the world. At least for now.

Mystery Synopsis The superheroes of the Justice Confederation received their summons to the Annual Superhero Assembly with the

primary discussion topic on the agenda of how to apprehend the notorious villain Da Bomb. The Justice Confederation heroes were well aware that Da Bomb was assembling an army of robotic bombs to take over the world and had to devise

a clever strategy to stop Da Bomb - and fast! Everyone arrived safely as planned in a secret cave inside of Mount Super and the critical meeting convened. Before getting down to important business, the superheroes enjoyed appetizers and challenging ice-breaking superhero trivia

questions while mingling and catching up with their fellow superheroes. The super colleagues participated in a hilarious superhero dance contest before starting the discussions. After some of the business on the agenda was deliberated, a

damsels in distress, her rescue rate is 100%.

Blue Blaze is known for her fiery personality. An attorney by day, she is outspoken and can be quite

The Wisher is one of the most caring and

accommodating superheroes in the Justice Confederation. However, watch out for this super

Genie’s sneaky side if you are unfortunate enough to be tricked into making three wishes.

The Jester

This super comic is a hoot and was once voted everybody’s favorite superhero in the Justice

Confederation. The Jester uses the power of humor to defeat villains. Criminals don’t know what’s hit them

when the jokes start flying!

Mr. Fabulous is…well…he’s completely fabulous! His perfect body, perfect hair, charismatic personality and trusty hand-held mirror are all that he needs to bring

criminals to justice. The lawbreakers stop in awe at the sight of Mr. Fabulous - just in time for the other

superheroes to take control of the scene.

Powers of the dark side

Optional Male

Vampo Man draws upon the dark side for super powers. This makes some of the other superheroes uneasy as

they can’t trust that this gothic superhero is a member of the Justice Confederation for good reasons. However, this super vamp’s done nothing to prove otherwise, so

he’s still ranked as an upstanding member!

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE HOST hero Get ready for a fun time with the Assassination at the Superhero Assembly mystery party game from mymysteryparty.com! This party is an exciting murder mystery where the players act the roles of intriguing superheroes while sleuthing the hilarious story line. You can never go wrong with a My Mystery Party game for any occasion! This game is a ‘starter murder mystery’ with a challenging but intermediate difficulty level (Rank 6 out of 10 on our Mystery Difficulty Scale) – great for teens or adult parties where you need a light to moderate sleuther.

This mystery comes with 10 characters. There are 6 required characters (#1 through #6) and 4 optional characters in this mystery (#7 - #10). If you do not have guests for these 4 characters, simply omit the clues of these guests. If you need to have unique characters added beyond the available expansion packs, go to www.mymysteryparty.com/adchcuno.html to purchase custom characters for your game. Please allow us a maximum of 5 days to complete your request (however, during the busy times of the year, this might be extended depending upon demand). The game is organized into four rounds and is structured as follows: OPTIONAL PRE-GAME TASKS & STARTERS: these pre-game starters and task sheets are to be delivered to each guest before the party or give them to the guests as they arrive. All pre-game materials are optional and do not alter the mystery and are intended to enhance the pre-game build up for the event. These starters and tasks are not vital to solving the mystery and omission of them does not alter the mystery in any way.

APPETIZER (COCKTAILS 4 ADULTS) HOUR / ROUND ONE: Deliver these clues as your guests arrive.

DINNER HOUR / ROUND TWO: Deliver these clues while you serve dinner (optional) to your guests.

DESSERT, AND THE BIG REVEAL/ SOLUTION ROUND THREE: Deliver these clues with coffee/hot cocoa and dessert.

You can hand these to your guests as they arrive before you give out the round one envelopes. (This option is not optimal since it is a memo about the ‘upcoming’ event and pre-game task suggestions that are written such that they are done prior to the arrival to the hidden cave in Mount Super. But if you explain that they were intended to be received a week ago – they can still view them, nonetheless).

ROUND ONE – MEET -N- MINGLE HOUR HOST INSTRUCTIONS: Round one – appetizer hour (cocktails for adults) begins as the guests arrive. DÉCOR: Round one – appetizer hour begins as the guests arrive. Create a Superhero ambiance with a fun party mix CD playing softly, superhero decor (i.e. superhero movie posters, etc.), and superhero movies without the audio (i.e. Batman, Superman, etc.) if there is a television in the party room. You can be as elaborate as you wish –the party location is the inside of ‘Mount Super’ – a hidden cave where only the superheroes of the world know about. Absolutely any party area will work – who really knows what a meeting area inside of a secret cave looks like? Be creative! As the guests enjoy appetizers, a round one envelope should be handed to each guest. Make sure the guests’ instructions (page 9) and the character descriptions (page 2-3) are available for the guests to review. You can also creatively display the clue-containing envelopes on a table for the guests to locate their own character names.

PROP LIST: These are props needed for this round. Collect these items in advance and have them ready. If any of the optional games are played, you will need to collect the items needed in advance of the game. Round One Clue cards printed and slipped into envelopes that are labeled and sealed for each character playing the game.

ROUND TWO - DINNER HOUR HOST INSTRUCTIONS: PRE-GAME SET UP: In the nearest bathroom, place the following items under the sink - the victim sign (page 27), scotch tape (host supplied), note evidence (page 28), white non-toxic face makeup, the victim t-shirt and / or crime scene barrier tape (host supplied, optional but hilarious). If there is not a cabinet under the sink, place these items in any location that can be concealed within that bathroom. The murder victim will be instructed in their clue card for round two to look for it if there is not a cabinet under the sink. The murder victim will be instructed in their round two clue card - after the pre-murder clues have been implemented - to go to the nearest restroom to become the victim by applying the white face makeup on their face (optional), putting on the victim sign by adhering it to their chest with Scotch tape, and if the optional victim t-shirt is available- to put that on (with the victim sign on top) and if the crime scene tape is there - to decorate themselves with it. It is hilarious when a fully decorated victim walks back into the party area!

THE INVESTIGATION BEGINS: Once the victim returns and the laughter dies down, read the sign on his/her chest to the group. They have most likely already read the post-murder clues and now they will make more

sense and they can implement them. The reason the pre and post murder clues are on the same card (Round Two) is to reduce the amount of rounds in the game and make it more economical and easy to prepare the game kit for the host. But more importantly, so the guests can read ahead and get ready for the post-murder investigation round at their leisure during the pre-murder round. It also builds anticipation for the murder. The post murder clues do not give anything critical away to the murder (without collecting the clues from everybody) or to whom the victim is…so the ‘victim surprise’ is not ruined for anyone. Encourage the guests to implement their 'post-murder reveal clues' once the victim enters the room and share truthful information and opinions that they have regarding the murder. This part of the investigation should take about 15 minutes. Again, at this time, the guests can decode the note evidence.

CONCLUSION OF THE ROUND: At the conclusion of this round, give the guests a time period (i.e. 5-10

ROUND THREE: DESSERT and THE BIG REVEAL HOST INSTRUCTIONS: ACCUSATIONS: After you collect the mystery investigation sheets, allow the guests to one-by-one accuse who they believe the MURDERER is and how they did it. Instruct them to also tell the group their guess of the MURDERER‘S motive. If you are having an awards ceremony using the awards certificates available on the My Mystery Party site in the mystery props section, you can use this round as the final decision maker on the Best Actor/Actress award.

HOW TO PLAY A MURDER MYSTERY Guest Instructions

So you’ve been assigned a character and you’ve come to the party dressed in the most heroic costume and have been told to play your role. So now what? The mystery is separated into 3 main rounds of party play. During the party, you will receive an envelope that contains the clues necessary for your character for the round. The clues for the characters at the party provide everything that you need to solve the mystery. However, during the investigation segment of the game, you will need to ask the right questions and pay close attention to everyone’s clues to get the whole picture of what has happened.

game. From this point forward, you are to remain in character until the mystery is solved. If you are playing a ‘narcoleptic superhero,’ then that is who you are until the end! Undoubtedly, your host cast you into a superhero that you are comfortable playing. There are some characters that are designed to be played more reserved than other characters that should be played more boisterous. Feel free to play your role however you feel comfortable. Embellish your character’s personality if you would like. However, if you are feeling more reserved tonight, you can opt to allow the other guests to approach you or you can simply listen in on others’ conversations to get your information.

THE JESTER Your character is the hilarious comedian superhero with the power of humor. Your intoxicating jokes stun the bad guys long

enough for you or other superheroes to take them down! Get your best jokes ready for the Assembly! CLUES TO REVEAL DURING THIS ROUND **Remember, your character is creepy and mysterious. During this round, mingle with other guests to discuss the following information with whomever you choose:

Talk to everyone about how you care for the environment and you are an avid animal lover. This tends to surprise people as they always think the worst of you when they first meet you. One shouldn’t judge a book by its cover.

Tell everyone that Shiver should be furious at Nerdon for telling the press that she didn’t care to save the Mayor of Gothic City’s daughter that was being mugged not even a block away while she was getting frivolous cosmetic procedures done.

Tell everyone that Stingmata and Nerdon’s feud is ignorant. Say that arguing over a childhood fight about a tether ball is the most ridiculous thing you’ve ever heard of.

Tell Stingmata that she shouldn’t be angry at Nerdon over a childhood tether ball fight. Teaming up and fighting criminals is much more worthwhile than fighting over silly things. Ask Stingmata if s/he is willing to make up with Nerdon and end the feud.

Tell The Red Wonder that you can’t believe that Nerdon hates rap music as much as s/he does. You’ve never heard someone talk so badly about a genre of music before. Ask the Red Wonder if s/he is offended by that.

POST-MURDER: **Someone has been murdered! Rally the superheroes to investigate the crime as there is no legal jurisdiction over superheroes and your group needs to uncover the murderer immediately or the stability of the world might be in danger. Hurry! You were standing in the northwest corner of the room when the victim collapsed to the floor. You saw Character A and Character B standing close to the victim, there were two more people that were close to the

victim but you can’t recall who they were. Investigate the victim for clues.
