Community Leader

There are squatters near Yangon East District Court, so what will you do for them if the power line crosses over them?

DPTSC

The power line will be underground line so there is nothing to worry about that.

Community Leader

Will there be any safeguard if the power line will be underground line?

DPTSC

It is 230kV so it shall be done according to international standards and designed by skilled engineers.

Community Leader

When will the project be started?

DPTSC

The project has been running for 2 or 3 years starting with negotiations and waiting for permission from YCDC.

Ward Administrator

There are water distribution pipes along with the road buried in both sides, so I concern about water shortage during the project period because I believe that the pipes are within the range of project. I suggest that the project should be implemented from 2020.

DPTSC

The grooves needed for power line are small so there won’t be any problems. We will implement the grooves according to the map of water distribution pipes.

Ward Administrator

It would be better if the grooves come from Lagon Pyin.
