Attitude
Attitude is a feeling that a character feels in a story.
I have a lot of attitude, but I try to control it when gets out of hand.
Analogy
Analogy is a comparison between two things.
Cakes and brownies are both deserts, but brownies are best because they are made out of chocolate.
Character
Character is person or animal around which the action in a story occurs.
Example: In the goldilocks and the three bears, the characters in the book are a little girl and three bears.
Climax is the high point or turning point in a story.
In the three little pigs, the wolf blew down the straw and stick house, but the climax in the story was that when he came to the brick house he couldn’t blow it down.

Conflict
Conflict is the problem or complaints in a story.
Example: I have a conflict in my 2nd period classroom. The conflict is that a boy named Nathaniel, always messes with me and I’m tired of it.
Fact
A fact is a statement is true or can be proven.
Example: a fact about me is that I was born on June 9th 1997.
opinion
opinion is what someone thinks or feels.
Example: many people that I am short. That is an opinion because I am taller than most people and many people haven’t saw me.
Main-idea
Main-Idea is what the passage is mainly about.
Example: the main-idea in my presentation is me writing about literary terms.
Personification
Personification is giving animals or objects human characteristics.
Example: in red riding hood the wolf talked to red. (knowing wolfs can’t talk!)
Conclusion
conclusion is a decision based on information presented in the story.
Example: the conclusion I have is me ending my presentation.
