My Reflection on Chemistry

My Reflection on Chemistry : During this year of chemistry, I started with a basic understanding of what we were learning, but as the year progressed, I soon began to go into the ideas that we'd learned in depth. Through doing labs, I was able to realize the the connections and applications from chemistry to every day life. I'm proud of most the work that I've done this semester and I've learned from as well as work that I'd initially done worse on, and through learning from my mistakes, I was able to create a new piece of work and through that work show my new understanding of what we're learning in class. This year, I really liked learning the application of chemistry to real life. I found many things extremely interesting in this class, but I think the most exciting lab that we'd done in chem was thing one where we had various substances and we put them over a flame to see what color the flame was: the flame lab. I think that I was able to further expand my skills of time management as well as organization. Chemistry related, I was able to be more precise with the lab and have results which the data would be more precise. During this second semester, I have also been able to step back to look at the bigger picture, while making progress with my note taking, which eventually resulted in better understanding of the material. I sometimes found myself without time during the beginning of the semester, but I was able to adjust my time I spent on things which helped me. I also need to be a little more attentive in class, one time we were supposed to complete a homework, and the assignment hadn't been online which had resulted in finishing the homework the day it was due. After learning that lesson, I was able to make progress and always pay attention in class. If i had the opportunity, this semester I would have been very meticulous with the work that I'd done, and rather than assuming it was right, I should have gone over it and made sure it was my best work. For next year's science teacher, I would like them to know that I like to have set expectations, I'm better with concrete ideas that I can calculate rather than abstract ones, and that

My Reflection on Chemistry:

During this year of chemistry, I started with a basic understanding of what we were learning, but as the year progressed, I soon began to go into the ideas that we'd learned in depth. Through doing labs, I was able to realize the the connections and applications from chemistry to every day life.I'm proud of most the work that I've done this semester and I've learned from as well as work that I'd initially done worse on, and through learning from my mistakes, I was able to create a new piece of work and through that work show my new understanding of what we're learning in class.

For next year's science teacher, I would like them to know that I like to have set expectations, I'm better with concrete ideas that I can calculate rather than abstract ones, and that I'm a resilient student, so to make progress, I would hope they tell me what I initially did wrong.

In the future I'm sure to see chemistry everywhere I go. Chemistry is involved everywhere at all times in my life. I know that through brushing my teeth, I just used water, in which the chemical composition is two hydrogen molecules for every oxygen molecule. Mostly the idea that chemistry give a reason to many things that would otherwise be inexplicable. I also hope to continue using glass in glass shop, which chemistry has clearly effected.
