My Pictures

On the following slides, there will be some of the pictures taken to be used for the subsidiary task. We have not shown all the photos her as over 400 photos were taken and many were repeats of the same shot and angle.

The slides will show a range of photos from a range of angles and shots. We did not have any specific angles and shots in mind for the tasks so a wide variety were taken to see what looked well and worked well with the text and layout.

Due to the quality of one of the cameras we used many photos that were taken ended up indistinct and dark like this photo even though there was background lighting. Fortunately the other camera we used on a different day of photo taking took good quality pictures and if we particularly needed a photo than Photoshop made the photo look fine.

As you may be able to notice, this is an edited version of the previous photo. Not much work was needed to make this photo look professional, only a slight air brush, some spot magic and a black and white effect. We used Photoshop on all our final products to make them look professional and we practised with all the tools to make sure they would be top quality. We realised that Photoshop could easily make a poor quality photo look professional and we took advantage of this.

The following photos were taken to show the fighter from the video. We were not sure if we would be including them in either the DVD cover or the Magazine Advertisement and in the end they were not used in any of the final products.
