Welcome to 2nd grade! My name is Miss

Fernandez. I’m so happy to be your 2nd grade

teacher for the 2020 - 2021 school year. This is my first full year of teaching. I taught 5th grade at Mary Mac last spring and before that I was a substitute teacher for the West Ada school district. This is my first year at Summerwind, and I am so very excited!

I moved to Boise after graduating from Montana State University. I live in an apartment with my two cats Shildoh and Shadow, and my dog Bronx. I love reading books, traveling, and being outdoors with my family and friends.

This year I am ready to take on the learning remotely or in class. As time goes on we will all get better at navigating it and I look forward to exploring this new way of learning with all of you!!
