Some of the items are truly one-of-a-kind creations and cannot be identically reproduced due to the supplies and beads used to create the piece. Ak-Ses-Uh-Rees is the handcrafted jewelry product line from My Lil' Craft Shoppe, made in Waukesha, WI. Our goal is to offer fashionable, unique pieces at affordable prices. In today's economy, it's very important to get the most for your dollar, and we understand that here at My Lil' Craft Shoppe. We are able to provide our jewelry at affordable prices because we also shop smart when it comes to buying our supplies. Our beads and findings come from local craft supply stores and bead shops, online bead suppliers, as well as jewelry-making trade shows. We scour these resources for quality supplies offered at a reasonable cost. In addition, we've concentrated on using stylish, lower-cost alternative metals compared to expensive precious metals since the market value of items such as Sterling Silver has skyrocketed. This allows us to create contemporary and unique pieces with quality materials and provide them at prices that won't break the bank. Many of our “silver” pieces are made with non-tarnish wire to keep your jewelry looking like-new.

!About the Designer!

All of the jewelry in this catalog was designed and handcrafted by Karen Domine, owner of My Lil' Craft Shoppe. Karen has been designing and selling her jewelry designs for over 7 years, but has been creating handcrafted items in a variety of mediums for most of her life. In addition to designing and creating her jewelry pieces, she does her own photography and photo editing and maintains the My Lil' Craft Shoppe website and online shop. She also runs an online guide for jewelry designers and bead enthusiasts called The Beader's Resource Guide (www.beadersresourceguide.com).

Q. What types of beads do you use in your pieces?A. It varies by item. The descriptions of each piece will give the basics of what the piece is made from. Typical supplies used are semi-precious stones, Czech glass beads, crystals, freshwater and glass pearls.

Q. What types of metals do you use in your pieces?A. Again, it varies by item. The majority of our pieces are made with silver-plated base metals. Most ear wires are handcrafted using Sterling Silver wire. Due to the silver prices, we've switched to using permanently colored, non-tarnish copper wire which comes in silver and a variety of other colors. We also use pewter findings, which may contain trace amounts of lead.

Q. What is your return policy?A. All sales are final. However, we want you to be satisfied with our jewelry, so if you do have an issue with an item please let us know. If something should happen to break within 60 days of receipt - you may return it to us and we will fix it free of charge. After 60 days you may return items for repair at a small cost. Please contact us before returning any item so we can discuss the issue. Sometimes jump rings open up and the toggle/clasp comes off – this is an issue that could be fixed without needing to be returned.

Q. Where can I get more information about hosting an in-home show?A. The details of our home show plan can be found at www.mylilcraftshoppe.com, under “We Bead 4 You”. We'll bring all of our currently available jewelry and set it up in your home. Invite your friends and family to come and shop! You will receive 10% credit from the total sales to use towards the purchase of your items.
