My First Experience in China

(Editor' Note: Rita is one of our SICAS students and is currently studying

Rita Marufu (SICAS student in Bohai University)

My name is Rita Marufu, from Zimbabwe. Currently studying in Qingdao

University.

My experience in China has been one of the best memories in my life .

At first I was so scared of how I was going to adapt to the environment,

food and culture since they are different from the ones I was used to.

with the help of SICAS I safely came to china. it is a place with people

who are very kind hearted, from the day I tasted the food I just cant stop

eating the Chinese food, I have also attended festivals and participated

in many games which were so interesting.

I feel I am a part of the family. China is a place worth studying.
