My best birthday!

Birthday is such a wonderful day for everybody! Many people like to celebrate it. On this day you are in the centre of attention. You can spend time with your parents, friends and relatives and get a lot of presents. People like their birthdays because of the presents, too.

I was born on the 22th of November. Birthday is a very remarkable day for me. It is the end of autumn so the weather is usually not that great but I still love it!

On this day in the morning my parents come into my room and say, "Happy Birthday!" And, of course, they don’t forget about presents. They usually know beforehand what my secret wish is. I enjoy surprises but still it’s better to know what I am going to get.

My telephone keeps ringing all the day, people are calling to say “Happy birthday!” and it is really great to feel that people remember about you.

Usually we go for a picnic on my birthday, but his year I want to have my birthday party at home. I will celebrate my birthday on Saturday so everybody can come. We have invited my friends and relatives to the party. There will be many people. We usually have big parties at home and I like to meet guests. My parents help me organize this party. My father and I go shopping to buy food and everything we need for the party and my mother stays at home to start cooking. She also lays the table, she does it perfectly. When we come back I start helping my mother with cooking in the kitchen. We cook a lot of tasty food. When everything is ready we dress up, make our hair and wait for the guests.

At five o'clock my relatives and friends arrive to congratulate me and I am happy to see them. They bring a lot of flowers, presents, postcards and sweets. I have got a lot of nice presents - a computer, a couple of DVD’s, postcards and money. I thank them all.

I usually enjoy my birthday parties. We have a good holiday dinner and everybody is merry. We dance, make jokes, sing karaoke, play games, speak about different things and don’t forget about tasty things on the table. My mother brings the birthday cake and I blow the candles out.

Everyone enjoys the party very much and so do I.

My favourite meals!

For me food – is a pleasant source of energy. I think that pleasant food is healthy food. To my mind healthy food should be quite simple. My daily meals consist of different dishes every day. So in the morning I usually have some bread and butter, then I have tea or coffee. At lunch I have soup, salad and fried fish or meat. I do not always have desserts, but I always drink tea with lemon. For dinner usually I have potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables and then I eat fruit. I love all kinds of milk products, especially kefir, and cheese. As for sea products I love shrimps, salmon and trout. I like different kinds of salads, dressed with olive oil, sour cream or with lemon juice. I also love all kinds of potato dishes. I usually drink down food with natural juices. I prefer to have tea with candy, chocolate, crackers or home-made jams. As I do not always change my daily dishes, I very seldom have stomach problems. Actually I think that the simpler food is, the better it tastes. I do not buy in shops ready or semi-manufactured food products, because this is unhealthy. It is better to spend some time cooking, than to have problems with overweight and heart.

London has a heart of itself.It is a world-class international city, a potpourri of luxury and culture and the magical place to live!London has always something diverse to offer the traveler, new events and attractions to inspire the imagination. There is always something going on in this luxury site, a new musical to see, a first star concert to attend or a fashion show go to. The hub of the city center is forever bustling with life and glamour.Take a tour around the city’s monuments and art museums, such as the National Gallery,

onto the ancient walls of the Tower of London that once dominated the skyline, across the London Bridge until the Westminster Bridge and into Trafalgar Square, to the now modern skyline, which is London city center. The City is often called the commercial and business heart of London. This is the area with lots of banks and offices. Every morning there are many clerks in suits hurrying to their offices

The past and present are constantly merging; creating the special setting, which renders London so enticing and luxurious. This 21st century city blends modernity with past tradition and has something in store for everyone. London is a cosmopolitan city. People of different races and nationalities, cultures and religions live there. It is quite natural that over 300 different languages are spoken here. London is an international transport point with five international airports (Heathrow is the main one) and a large port.I would love to live in London because for me it is one of the most beautiful and entertaining cities.

What makes me happy?

Happiness is the feeling that does not just give you wings to fly but also makes you dream of what is holly and bright. To be happy does not mean only the state of laughing and smiling but the state of knowing that everything is fine and everyone is fine.

In my case, happiness does not come together with financial support. It actually comes with the idea that my family is healthy, and that everyone loves and supports each other.

I love presents and surprises. That is why I am happy and I get excited when I know that somebody wants to make a surprise for me and thinks of making me happy. My mother feels happy when she knows that we(her children) are healthy,have food to eat and feel warm and save.Another stage of happiness is being sure that you will have a prosperous future,a job to work at and a house to live in.Happiness is the sense of life,and I enjoy being happy as long as my family is happy too.
