TheMXP5EcomeswithallthefeaturesneededforproperuseofVelconSuperdriCartridgesfordissolvedwaterremovalfromtransformeroil.Parallelflowthroughthetwofilterhousingsassurestheproperflowrate
througheachSD-718Superdricartridge.Theunitisalsovalvedsothatseriesflowispossiblefornon-
dissolvedwateroilhandlingapplications,suchasremovalofdirtandfreewater.UseFOfiltercartridgesinthefirsthousingtoremovedirtparticles.AnAquaconcartridge
inthesecondstageremovesfreewater.
Theflowmeter/totalizerfeaturesallowstheuserto
calculatetheapproximatelifetimeoftheSuperdricartridgeswithoutanon-linemoisturemonitor.For
dissolvedwaterremovalfromtransformeroil,theMXP5Eisaneconomicalalternativetomorecostlyheatand
vacuumsystems.
