Before You Start•Disconnectnegativebatteryterminal.Consultaqualifiedtechnicianforinstructions.•Avoidinstallingtheunitwhereitwouldbesubjecttohightemperatures,suchasfromdirectsunlight,orwhereitwouldbesubjecttodust,dirtorexcessivevibration.
Getting Started•Removetrimringfromunit.•Remove2transitscrewslocatedontopoftheunit.•Insertthesuppliedkeysintotheslotsasshown,andslidetheunitoutofthemountingsleeve.•Installmountingsleeveintoopening,bendingtabstosecure.•Connectwiringharnessandantenna.Consultaqualifiedtechnicianifyouareunsure.•Certaininstallationsmayrequireaninstallationkitand/orwiring harnessadapter(soldseparately).•Testforcorrectoperationandslideintomountingsleevetosecure.•Snaptrimringintoplace.

General OperationPress RELEASEandpullawayfromtheleftsidetoremove.Tore-install,insertrightsideoffaceplatefirstthenpushleftsidetosecure.
Press or any other button toturntheuniton.Press againtoturntheunitoff.
Press MODE toselectbetweenAM/FM,USB,SDorauxil-iaryinputmodes.Modesofoperationareindicatedinthedisplay.SDandUSBmodeswillnotappearunlessanSDCardisinsertedoraUSBdeviceisconnected.
Theradiofrequency(tunermode)orMP3/WMAtitle/trackinformation(USBandSDmodes)willbeshownbydefault.Press DISPtodisplaytheclock.Thedefaultdisplaywillreturnafterfiveseconds.
WheninUSBorSDmode,thedisplaywillalternatebetweentracknumber/elapsedtimeandavailableMP3/WMAinformation,includingfilename,songtitle,artistname,albumnameandfoldername.
Press RESETuponinitialinstallationorifabnormalopera-tionoccurs.Resetbuttonislocatedbehindthefrontpanel.
Press DISP todisplaytheclock,thenpressandholdDISP untilthehourswillflash.Rotatethevolume knobtoadjustthehours.Pressthevolume knob,andtheminuteswillflash.Rotatethevolume knobtoadjusttheminutes.
Inserta3.5mmconnectorinthefrontpanelAUXport.Connecttheotherendofthe3.5mmconnectortothehead-phoneoutputofanaudiodevice,MP3player,etc.
Adjustvolumeusingthe volume knob(00-40).
Press EQtoselectbetweenthefollowingpresetequaliza-tioncurves:FLAT,POP,JAZZ,ROCKandOFF.
Note:AbilitytomanuallyadjustBassandTreblesettingsisdisabledwhenapresetequalizationcurveisselected.SettingequalizationcurvestoOFFenablesmanualBassandTrebleadjustmentsasoutlinedonpage7.

ToplayMP3/WMA/WAVfilesfromanSDcard,insertanSDcardintotheSDcardslotwiththelabelfacingleft.Itwillclickintoplacewhenproperlyinserted.Toremovethecard,pressinuntilitclicks,thenpulltoremove.
WhenaUSBdeviceisfirstconnected,“LOAD”willappearinthedisplayandplaybackwillbeginmomentarily.Dependingonthenumberoffilesandfolders,itmaytakeseveralsecondsforthedevicetobeginplaying.IfnovalidMP3/WMAfilesaredetected,“NOFILE”willbedisplayedandthelastmodewillberesumed.
