Well spotted, mmddll.

This is a piece of the Enigma.

In french Merde means shit.

Your last posts are "de la merde". You're littering this thread andothers with bits and pieces of shit which you can't even articulateinto a synthetic theory in direct relation to TDB and the Enigma.

The admins opened a special section for this. Use it.

Those comments are directed to those who have lost their focus and keepposting nonsense because that make them feel they have something to say.

You are only just "Shooting the messenger"

Scapegoat From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. The scapegoat was a goat that was driven off into the wilderness as part of

the ceremonies of Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, in Judaism during thetimes of the Temple in Jerusalem. The rite is described in Leviticus 16. Theword also refers, in modern parlance, to one who is blamed for misfortunes, often as a way of distracting attention from the real causes.

The Scapegoat by William Holman Hunt, 1854. Hunt had this framed in apicture with the quotations "Surely he hath borne our Griefs, and carried ourSorrows; Yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of GOD, and afflicted."(Isaiah 53:4) and "And the Goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities untoa Land not inhabited." (Leviticus 16:22)Contents [hide] 1 In the Hebrew Bible 2 Christian view 3 Scapegoating 3.1 Political/Sociological Scapegoating 3.2 Scapegoating in sports 3.3 Scapegoating in Psychoanalytic Theory 4 See also 5 External links

[edit] In the Hebrew Bible Two male goats were to be brought to the place of sacrifice along with abull as part of the Korbanot ("sacrifices") in the Temple in Jerusalem. Thehigh priest then cast lots for the two goats. One goat was offered as a burntoffering, as was the bull. The second goat was the scapegoat. The highpriest placed his hands on the head of the goat and confessed the sins ofthe people of Israel. The goat was then led away into the wilderness, bearing the sins of the people with it, to Azazel, and pushed off a cliff orinto a ravine. It is not clear if Azazel is a person, angel (possibly a fallenangel), or place name—the last seems likeliest, but it is by no meanscertain.

In modern Hebrew Azazel is a curse word, as in lekh la-Azazel ("go toAzazel"). It is possible that "Azazel" in this context is used metaphorically, and the goat was released into the wilderness rather than being taken to aspecific location, as in the English "go to hell". Alternatively, "Azazel" couldrefer to a personal being, as in the English "go to the devil".

[edit] Christian view In Christian theology, the story of the scapegoat in Leviticus is interpretedas a symbolic prefiguation of the self-sacrifice of Jesus, who takes the sinsof humanity on his own head, having been driven into the 'wilderness'outside the city by order of the high priests.

Some Christians believe that rather than representing Jesus, the scapegoatrepresented Satan. Leviticus 16:8: "And Aaron shall cast lots upon the twogoats; one lot for the Lord, and the other lot for the scapegoat." Theybelieve that after the goat "for the Lord" had symbolically atoned for thesins of the people, the sins were placed on the scapegoat (who representedSatan). In the end of time, they believe the sins of the world will be placedon Satan as a final punishment - not because he can offer atonement, whichChrist has already done, but so he can be punished for being the instigatorof sin.

[edit] Scapegoating Figuratively, a scapegoat is someone selected to bear blame for a calamity.Scapegoating is the act of holding a person, group of people, or thingresponsible for a multitude of problems. This is also known as a frameup.

[edit] Political/Sociological Scapegoating Scapegoating is an important tool of propaganda; for example, the Jewswere singled out in Nazi propaganda as the source of Germany's economic

woes and political collapse .

Scapegoating is often more devastating when applied to a minority groupas they are inherently less able to defend themselves. A tactic oftenemployed is to characterize an entire group of individuals according to theunethical or immoral conduct of a small number of individuals belonging tothat group.

"Scapegoated" groups throughout history have included almost everyimaginable group of people: adherents of different religion, people ofdifferent race or nation or political belief, people differing in behaviour ofmajority. However, scapegoating may also be applied to organizations, suchas governments, corporations, or various political groups.

In industrialised societies, scapegoating of traditional minority groups isincreasingly frowned upon. In the extreme, this may result in socially-enforced rules regarding speech, as in political correctness.

Compare: moral panic; hue and cry; witchhunt, shoot the messenger

[edit] Scapegoating in sports In sports, scapegoats are common. In baseball, Bill Buckner is blamed forlosing the 1986 World Series due to a critical error. In American football,Scott Norwood is blamed for losing the Super Bowl for the Buffalo Billsduring Super Bowl XXV by missing a key field goal. Andrés Escobar, aColombian football player, was shot dead after he scored an own goal thatknocked his team out of the 1994 World Cup.

In 2005, ESPN Classic created the series The Top 5 Reasons You Can'tBlame..., in which it examines why the conceived scapegoat(s) should, infact, not be held responsible.

[edit] Scapegoating in Psychoanalytic Theory Psychoanalytic Theory believes that unwanted thoughts and feelings can beunconsciously projected onto another who becomes a scapegoat for onesown problems. This concept can be extended to projection by groups. Inthis case the chosen individual, or group, becomes the scapegoat for thegroup's problems.
