Letters regarding hours went home last Friday with students in grades K-5. There were several that were incorrect due to a processing error, so we will

be sending home another round of letters (this time to ALL grades) before the 4 day weekend next week. These letters will reflect all hours reported through

October 16. Please remember, these letters are simply an "FYI" regarding your hours.

After receiving the letters next week, if there seem to be discrepancies based on your records as of October 16, please follow the instructions in the letter

to address the issues most effectively. Thank you for your patience!

Possible Preschool On Our Campus Cornerstone is pursuing the possibility of starting a private preschool on our campus.

This preschool would not be a VPK, but rather a paid for private preschool. The school

would serve students who turn four years old on or before September 1, 2014. The

school would not be part of our K-12 but a convenient option for our community.

If you have a child entering preschool during the 2014-2015 school year and may be

interested please email Mrs. Downey to add your name to the list of possible students

The mission of the Edible Garden Club at Cornerstone Charter Academy is to awaken the senses of students by means of organic gardening through collaboration between community and students at ALL grade levels, and to design appealing landscape, which can be wholly incorporated into the school’s curriculum, culture, and whole food understanding. We will affect your child in many ways, with education being our top priority as they ENJOY learning the aspects of farming without the focus being a ‘means to an end’ but the entire journey of nourishment pertaining to the mind, body, and stewardship of the ground that we depend upon.

Registration is now open for the Fall session 10/22– 12/10 Grades: K – 12th students Tuesdays 3:00 - 4:00 This is a FREE club. Pick up 4:00 sharp at the K line benches.
