There has been a lot of discussion and concern with regards to pop-ups and the Board of Zoning Adjustment process within the community recently. The Office of Planning is currently considering changes to the areas of height and density for structures within R-4 Zones, which are predominately the residential rowhouse areas of the community. We are sure this will be of interest to many residents living in Ward 1 as well as other Washington neighborhoods. Due to this, Advisory Neighborhood Commissioners from ANC 1A and ANC 1B are jointly organizing a public town hall meeting so that residents can learn about the proposed changes as well as learn more about Zoning and the Board of Zoning Adjustment Process.
