The video is about a girl texting this male character and flirting with him, they also exchange photos. At the end of the video the girl’s boyfriend finds out she is texting this other male character and then texts the him telling him to leave her alone. I believe that many videos do support the idea that “Music videos are simply an extension of the lyrics” but also from my research I have found out that many other videos that prove this statement wrong. Many artists may believe that the video does not have to fit the lyrics because they either have better ideas or they just find it too difficult to create a fitting video.
