your groups music video.

Today

You will continue to develop your music video

idea for your band or artist, analysing what work

you have need to complete, distributing the tasks

amongst your team and working hard to complete

these tasks.

Music video planningYou will need to create pre-production planning for the

track, including storyboards, production schedules,

milestones, location recces, budgets, filming permissions

etc…

Task 1Hold a team meeting. Working in your groups identify all

the planning you need to complete on your pre-production

checklist . Tick off any of the work you have already

completed.

Set yourself a target for today; what piece of planning

work are you going to work on. Will you start it or finish it?

Will it be a rough draft, or do you want it to be the final

version?

Task 2In your groups begin working towards your goals. Stay

focused on your task and if you complete it identify how

you could improve on this work, or what task you could

follow it up with.

Plenary: team meetingHow far did you get today? Who completed their goal?

Who didn’t, and crucially why?

Hold a team meeting to find out, and identify what next

steps we need to take. If someone is struggling to

complete a task devise a way to help as a group.

Next weekYou will continue to develop your ideas for your music

video, applying the pre-production skills you have learnt

so far to continue planning your idea.

You should continue to develop your ideas outside of the

lesson.
