Our annual teacher training courses mean that your teacher has access to on-going development to make sure you get the very best guidance in your musical endeavours. With over 95 expert teachers, it means that no matter your musical tastes, we have someone on the team with the right knowledge and skills to help you. If at any time you feel you need to take your music in a new direction - talk to our office first. As always we are here to support you! By the way you don’t have to be a current student to join, e.g. if you are an Aunty, Uncle or Grandparent or past student that wants to participate in keeping up with your families musical news, do not hesitate to sign up. Plus, all VIP’s have the ongoing chance of winning a free lesson every month. MEC teacher Alice, with two students TERMS OF TUITION Lesson fees at the Music Education Centre are invoiced and are payable in advance only. Each month you will receive a statement showing any fees currently due. Please make sure that this is paid full and upon receipt. For your convenience, our centres accept credit card and eftpos payments, cash and cheques. Bank account details for direct credits can be found on your statement. Credit card payments can be taken by telephone. Lessons in schools are billed based on a *set term fee although allowance for one lesson to be made up is made each term. Lessons at our centres are billed *monthly in advance. We are unable to refund or credit lessons missed by students. Students learning in our early childhood “Forte School of Music” courses are billed on a 10 week “financial term” basis. This sometimes runs out of sync with the regular school terms. These fees too should be paid in advance, although you can contact us if you would like to discuss ways to make 3 instalment payments over the course of the term. Some of our smallest students enjoy the benefits of early childhood music!

The Music Education Centre offers lessons to

all ages, from 3 to 93+. Any age can learn music.

Our teachers are available after school and on

weekends at our centres with courses and lessons to

suit everyone.
